Creative Knitting Spring 2018: A Review
Today we're looking at Creative Knitting 's Spring 2018 issue .
Down the sidewalk. It's a very interesting piece, but I can't help but think that because of its rectangular shape - an awkward shape for a scarf - it would look a little better and stay on the sofa.
Jacket with gold buttons. It's well stitched, but that extended sleeve and body length isn't for everyone. However, it is easy to trim down the style that suits the wearer.
cabotage cardigan. I'm not a fan of it. The open cardigans look very small (and this is no exception) and the dropped edges look detached.
Collet cruise. That's a nice little scarf.
island scarf. It's a beautiful case that looks and feels great.
eyes everywhere. It's not bad. The disposable palette in the foreground might worry me a little, but I'm trying my best to suppress it heavily because it has a chilling appeal. This sweater will be fun and you can make it with crazy fur yarn and wear jeans.
High cardigan. This piece is so cute with its smocked yoke and short sleeves. Personally, I couldn't stand this look, but it would be a pretty good thing for a guy who can do it.
Peach jacket tea is common. This should create an interesting thread.
West Princeville. I'm not a fan of this, but I think it would be better if it was made from more attractive yarn with more attractive ribbons. It looks so simple and expressive and has such a 1920s undergarment appeal, and I'm not talking 1920s girls undergarments that Charleston danced to and bottled in Don't Wear. garters on.
The red sky is not bad. Shape and seams are good.
Cypress turned. This works beautiful lace.
Robbery at Skygate. I like the gradient color used here and the stitching is nice, but I hope the designer wouldn't have been rectangular.
Simple sail scarf. It's kinda weird in a weird way. I can't help but think that the cloth didn't get the best design here and didn't show any benefits.
Western Temple Valley. I'm not a fan of those long, padded jackets. It doesn't tend to be unrealistic and flattering. This professional model is also carefully designed and does not serve the desired look.
The top tee I like the look of the yoke fan and the shape isn't bad but I'll add some finishing touches to the sleeves and neckline to make it last. This snippet looks positively fragmented.
Jacket with raindrops. Good shape and finish and I like that this designer did something new with the eye pattern in the form of teardrops.
