Interweave Knits Fall 2018: A Review
In today's article, we'll look at the Fall 2018 issue of Interweave Knits , where things got mixed up in a good way.
theater jackets. I love the jacket with its good shape and wired panels (although I can see what I did there, plain trim) but would definitely recommend wearing anything other than a striped shirt.
Cambridge jacket. I love the plaid pattern of this jacket and the "old college uniform" concept, but this would make it a little better. This style will be a little bigger, but it means one size larger than what the costume usually wears, not two or three sizes.
Classic bra from Gansey. What does the name of this piece say? I will use it myself.
Follens Pool Jacket. Clever use of wire in this case.
The Big Island sweater is a nice piece overall, but I'm not a fan of the neckline.
Envelope herring cove. Good deal.
Massachusetts Street Jersey. Amazing use of cables and a nice piece except for a slightly smooth bottom that I see.
Monomoi Dolman. beautiful! I would just like to add a few ribs to this little knot a bit.
Cardigan from Mount Auburn. Very beautiful piece!
Oxford Street jacket. A wonderful take on the classic style.
Prescott jacket. Attractive cables.
Quincy jacket. This Argyle cable pattern is very creative and looks amazing.
Racing point jacket. beautiful!
Jacket with the remaining collar. Another great knit sweater.
Wendell Street T-Shirt. This has such a contemporary vibe.
Another jacket. I like the concept of the attached shawl collar and contrast cuffs, but maybe it's not done much. Maybe I'd like a wider neck and wrist? I would like to fix the drooping shoulders and the transition from the tapered foam shoulders to the front wire looks a bit ragged and should probably be replaced with a patterned tape.
Yardmouth jacket. How good is this! I love the way the designers use cables to shape the raglan sleeves.
