Interweave Knits Winter 2018: A Review
Interweave Knits has released its 2018 winter edition. We see!
Cardigan with anchor. In this fine structure and form.
Clinton Creek Chapel. I like the concept of the elastic and structured body on the hat.
Dawson City sweater. Beautiful and classic Fair Isle yoke sweater.
Eagle Island cardigan. This is a very cool example of a Cowichan-style sweater, as well as a beautiful men's model. I like to combine grays, blacks, creams and reds like regular black, grays and whites or browns, which is a nice change from browns and whites.
Remove the poncho. This embroidery is very cute. I'm not particularly interested in the shape of this thing, but I'm not normally a fan of ponchos. That is fine.
Grand Fork Sweaters. Very nice.
Grayling cardigan. Another beautiful piece of Fair Island. I'm not crazy about belts because they hide nice patterns and don't help the sweater fit you. Of course, it would be better to style this sweater around the waist.
Ibex Valley gloves. I love the pineapple design and it looks so warm and inviting.
Iditarod sweaters. Excellent model with cable. I need a good shoulder width and a nice guy like that to do it. Interested graduates can apply!
Klondike sweater. A very decent piece with some interesting cable work.
Lorne mountain sweater. Great! This yoke is absolutely amazing.
Sweater name. The front cable is good. I'm not crazy about the neckline, which is a little too low and revealing for a men's sweater.
Rohn's sweater. Another beautiful sweater with yoke.
White Mountain Ruana. This has a nice texture, but these soft, big and loose figures never appealed to me.
White horse jersey. Not bad, but I'll fix that bump on the shoulder. His arms seem very short.
Yukon River Socks. Ah, for the showgirl who wants to make pantyhose without Whitehors pneumonia. I'm kidding because I love them - they fit well and connect well, and would be a great way to add extra protection in cold temperatures.
