Knitscene Winter 2018: A Review
Knitscene released their winter 2018 edition . Let's take a look at this, shall we?
Lake Geneva Jersey. Simple yet portable. This will require something attractive and/or beautiful, not to be overly simplistic.
Shimla sweaters. I hated indifference when it first appeared, but I think I totally leaned towards it. I found out the other day that I was looking at the Vogue Pattern two-piece packaging design on their website and thinking, “Maybe this spring…?” I don't care about this sweater. It's actually quite interesting. However, I am going to change the design to remove the current mouse and continue the ribbing on the sleeves. To do this, I will knit the sleeves at the same time as the shoulders and take a sufficient number of additional loops for this.
Sancadia Jersey. Nice and I love that modern blockchain effect, but I would shorten the sleeves and tape them up instead of widening the cuffs.
Jersey Great Falls. Nice piece with an interesting cable effect.
Jersey Seabrook. I love this sheer sweater, but styling it can be a little tricky. I think I should wear a raincoat that is a little shorter than the sweater and leave it unbuttoned so as not to create a horizontal line under this section, because all I see when I look at this photo is annoying discoloration at the waist. .
Sweater Park Lark. I really like this outfit overall, but I would definitely upgrade the mullet hem.
Top Benson. Not bad. I thought I'd go for a fancier yarn or a fancier knot as it can be done with a bit of charm.
Celadon Raglan. I prefer this one, although I think I would have liked it better if the shoulder pads were a little smaller.
Wiltshire headband. Tie your head.
Coconut Pocono. I'm not sure what it is, but I don't think I care. Looks like an unfortunate mix of shawl and sweater.
Wiltshire jacket. Here we have a scarf with sleeves. Has a messy look.
Brick city hat. Standard hat with lace.
Yuri sweater. Spacious and large standard turtleneck.
Rich Bluff watch. This hood really stands out visually. Good job.
Milkcroft scarf. I love the sharp and bold lines on this scarf.
Hedwilgerwinde. Lovely beanie with drawstrings.
Long wooden scarf. The snowflake detail at the hem of this very simple stocking knit scarf makes it something special.
More sweaters on the head. Nice wool sweater. Although I think I caught a bit of the edge of the mullet.
Black forest hood. This little hoodie has a nice modern look.
Hat of the Black Forest. I also really like the hat version of the hood above.
