Noro Magazine Issue 12: A Review

Noro Magazine has published its twelfth issue. Let's take a look, okay?

No. 1, Entrelac deck. Sure I think we have already seen this Afghan material and the next Afghan material, but on the other hand, the Afghan material is the perfect showcase for noro yarn and you want to play with contrasts.

No. 2, "A square in a square" quilt. A striking Afghan blanket with the slogan "Please don't turn on the TV".

No. 3, Asola Chevron. It's one of those things made to be worn, but will look better on the sofa.

No. 4, shawl with loops. Very nice. I love the combination of eyelets and lace trim.

No. 5, triangular shawl. It has an unusual and modern vibe, but it works. The softer color scheme was a good choice due to the presence of stripes and blocks.

No. 6, openwork shawl. A very traditional and simple shawl.

No. 7, scarf with eyes. Simple design. I'm not a fan of the Tutti Fruity color palette, but it's just a personal choice.

No. 8, semicircular shawl. A classic lace shawl in a decent shape.

No. 9, Chevron on top. I love the yarn used here, but some of the molds and false shoulders need to be cleaned. The model is simply amazed by this detail.

No. 10, braided bodice. I like the side stripe and color palette, but it's a clunky box-like shape.

No. 11, shirt with garter belt package. Oh what a nice ribbon. This will improve physical fitness.

No. 12, transverse tank. Very nice and portable top. I like the lace on the bottom and the shape and fit are good.

No. 13, scalloped striped tank top. This is very good. The overall shape is nice and a flattering wide neckline and a bit dramatic too.

No. 14, two-tone sweater. A very worthy object. It will be nice to play with the color contrast in the neckline / body.

No. 15, two-colored tunic. Not bad. I like the play of textures on the casing and bottom panel, as well as the finishing details. It is one of those pieces that are attractive and elegant enough to be paired with a simple skirt or pants.

16, above the direction line. I like this detail above the waist, but I don't like how the top panel fits the bottom half. It looks like "those pieces are stuck in the dryer".

No. 17, Men's Raglan Shirt. I love him so much I could do it for him if I had a boyfriend. (Internet sir, now I accept the question).

Jersey n. 18 Henley for men. I'm not a big fan of it. It's okay with the body, but I don't like how the neck looks. It has an awkward thickness.

Short-sleeved shirt n. 19. I like this best. Her minimalist style goes well with her yarn choices (this is a model that calls for brighter yarns) and the lines are beautiful.

No. 20, shirt. This is a little too loose around the buttocks. It will be better if it fits better.

No. 21, upper edge. Nice! It will be a fun and comfortable top to wear with jeans.

no. 22, at the top of the panel. There is a certain charm to this, but it will be difficult to achieve. It looks good on the neckline, but is getting too big at the bottom.

No. 23, Cardi with diagonal rack. It seemed like a good start and then it had to end in a maddening, painful crowd. The front requires extra finishing and a different kind of hug.

V-neck tank top n. 24. It's a beautiful piece, but this chest-level seam will look unappealing to women with small breasts.

No. 25. Vest with a swing in front. This sweater doesn't rock as much as it sinks. Such a ridiculous and messy number.

No. 26, crewneck sweater. It has a dividing gate that matches the round neckline.

No. 27, lace vest. It is beautiful, even elegant. I like three rows of buttons.

No. 28, lace handkerchief. I want this piece to look good, but it feels quite customizable.
