Pom Pom Quarterly Winter 2018: A Review
Pom Pom Quarterly has released its Winter 2018 issue . Are we seeing this?
Vitae tree . Nice sweater. I'm not usually an outspoken fan, but this brush adds shine to a simple corduroy sweater.
Ataraxia. I appreciate the way this designer has approached the look of a proper vest, and I really like the design, but I looked at the Basque side and I don't think it works. I'll narrow it down to a few inches.
cristinabel. What an interesting letter. I love the model's expression: "I'm fine without Mae, I like this beautiful thing."
Gailwood. These gloves are different: they are held in place by the middle finger ring, rather than forming separate finger holes. It will stay in place quite well and I really like the effect. They are like hand in hand.
Mockingbird. This is what the skin looks like, and the curvy, twisted ropes are absolutely stunning, making you think of the thick growth of the enchanted forest you read about in fairy tales.
Nimu , I'm not sure about that. The batwing sleeves give it a cutesy look. However, I must admit that it has some nice details and looks great here with a dress without competing horizontal lines.
There is nothing like that. I'm not too happy with the way this sweater sits in the front but it's fine and the back is nice.
Asmunda. There's... too much going on here. This milk isn't just an overcooked egg, it looks like smallpox.
To live. This wrap is great. Knitwear, use of two-tone covers, plush and similar silks... On the Ravelry page there are sixteen photos of this scale, which is much more than usual for a page of Ravelry models. It's like photographers can't stop shooting and it's not my fault.
willow I like the contrasting curvy effect of this jumper and the attached pom-poms, but I don't agree with the arrangement. Short sleeves and a short, loose torso don't work on this pro model either.
