Vogue Knitting Early Fall 2017: A Review

Vogue Knitting has released its early fall 2017 issue. Come on, shall we?

model number. 1, roll up the open seam. It's a little rough around the edges in my core.

model number. 2, twisted Chevron whale. Beautiful duvet cover. The story is still interesting.

No excuses. 3, non-slip dotted wrap. This one is a little rough, big at heart, have others seen the wall of little people looking at each other, embroidered on their shoulders?

model number. 4, to wrap the diamond cloth. A few good points about this.

model number. 5, Shetland spiral wrap. Incredible state-of-the-art cables.

model number. 6, structural packing. The sections of this Sampler style are not visually unified or monochromatic. I would choose two or three of these points and repeat each section rather than having another one.

model number. 7, mesh sweater. A well-formed classic.

model number. 8, kimono-style cardigan. He looks great with this piece! I don't like the front, but I really don't like the cardigan front. I would tend to make a sweater out of it.

No excuses. 9, Cardigan with woven detail. That's not a bad thing at all, although it's a little rough and messy.

model number. 10, asymmetrical sweater. Beautiful classic piece.

No excuses. 11, Diagonal sewing sweater. There is a magnificent horse.

model number. 12, raglan with hat, bow. I'm not usually a fan of netting, but I love this knit design, which has a twisted, almost frilly look. The details are pretty good too.

model number. 13, the cap is laminated. It's a nice hat, but I don't know if I agree with these earmuffs or should I admit that the earmuffs are as well made as the earrings. The hat looks like a helmet from the Narnia series. That's not necessarily a bad thing.

model number. 14, with lace cardigan pattern. I have to admit, this piece surpasses my usual shortcomings when it comes to baggy cardigans. It fits perfectly, the lace is beautiful, and the effect is both romantic and modern.

No excuses. 15, in Rouana. Lines and colors are irresistible. I wouldn't expect less as this is a Kaffe Fassett design.

model number. 16, striped boat with collar. Very fun interesting part.

model number. 17, a shirt with a trimmed collar. That's part of the fun too, although I don't think the color scheme works well.

model number. 18 years old, acquired in francs. It appears to be a "mud carpet".

model number. 19, tunic with rocker floor. I wanted to lengthen it a bit, make it into a dress and update the color scheme.

Model 20, sweater with diagonal stripes. This sweater with bad edges and unfinished edges looks more like a drawing in progress than a finished one.

model number. 21, Fibonacci redemption vest. I love the color palette, this vest fits pretty well.

Model 22, striped dress. It's portable, it's fun, it's modern, it's even beautiful, but every time I look at it, I hear the words "Please don't plug in the TV".

model number. 23, lace sweater. Alright, that's great: a well-designed color scheme, but that hanging rope is going to drive me crazy.

Model #24, striped raglan sweater. This is a reissued pattern that first appeared in the Spring 1989 issue of Vogue Knitting magazine . Ok, but not the model I would choose in this version (I checked, I really have a problem) even if the VK editor suggested replacing the yarn used to recreate the color scheme shown here, I will rework on the colors.

I like the idea of knitting decorative buttons, but they look a bit bulky.
