Vogue Knitting Holiday 2017: A Review

Vogue Knitting released their 2017 holiday issue . Let's get a look.

No. Model 1, thick sweater. This is a very decent heavy sweater. I'm still fixing that sagging shoulder.

Reason number 2, a blanket. Valuable!

No. Model 3, Scandinavian hat. Nice and comfortable to wear with some interesting and intricate stitches.

No. Model 4, sweater with Fair Isle bandage. Good piece. I like the neckline.

No. Model 5, Selburoz sweater. The snowflake patterns are a striking contrast to this navy blue and I love the vibrant color added around the edges of the dolls.

No. Model 6, hat with pompom. I... I don't know how he got into this trouble. Have you ever posted some old knitting patterns from the 1950s and somehow got lost?

No. Model 7, Fair Isle jumper. Ok, I wasn't sure I would like the red stencil on the sleeves as it looks like the sleeves are tucked into the body with red thread, but I think it works and adds more interest to the sweater.

No. Model 8, Scandinavian socks. Ah, what beautiful and clever socks! Desirable for a possible project plan for 2018!

No. Model 9, OB with zipper. An eye-catching accessory and I must admit that it adds a bit of flair and interest to this simple white shirt and black leather skirt. However, I don't think I'll do it alone because I'm too small for the bust and I'll introduce myself as someone who didn't know what it was like on the outside.

No. Model 10, OB modular belt. This is a good belt and will be easier to wear than the one above because it is much tighter.

No. Model 11, Fair Isle OB. This is probably my favorite of the three Obeys, although I wouldn't do it in that color. Plum and green are good, but variegated pinks and greens are not embarrassing or eye-catching.

No. Model 12, openwork sweater. Not bad for layered clothing. You should get a good mohair or angora.

No. Model 13, upper chevron. I'd rather look like this but wear a tight t-shirt or t-shirt because I'm afraid the lapel won't stay.

No. Model 14, lace jacket. Between the colorful ombre and the loose cascading line, this sweater is basically a depressing jersey.

No. Model 15, poncho for every day. Oh, this poncho has such an unflattering shape. Behind this model looks like a drop from the hands.

No. Model 16, folded sweater in braids. I like the idea, but the size and proportions make themselves felt, and on the back of this sweater there is a sad, defeated look, as if she had parted with her life partner, the same subtle motif. . 14 I'm going to change the direction of the thread so that it goes into the shoulder and then into the sleeve, and I want to erase the shape.

No. Model 17, textured jersey. I was very impressed with the material's cohesive effect and good shape. But I will mark this ridge on the top of the bodice and replace it with another stitch similar to the one used on the top of the sleeves.

No. Model 18, coat with shawl collar. Lightweight clothing. I'll fix a drooping shoulder.

No. Model 19, bomber jacket. It looks like a bag that closes with a drawstring. It is very simple, and there is neither interest nor sophistication in the rhetoric.

No. Model 20, Adelaide Shawl. There is enough interest and sophistication for the five elements in this section. It's incredibly interesting and I love it.

No. Model 21, cut thistle. It looks like a jacket from an old 1940 movie. And it really should have been there. Even this incredible model, for all her style, can't make her look anything other than silly and sleazy.

No. Model 22, lottery sleeve top. Since I copied all the photos from this post, I didn't think I would like it, but now that I have to write about it and take a closer look, I'm sure I will. It seems to me a modern and uncomfortable sweater with flounces. However, I am not going to do it alone, because I am sure that a well-built figure is not very good.

No. Model 23, A-line jersey. Not bad. The shape is nice and it's a good idea to show off some pretty threads in your favorite color.

No. Model 24, lottery jersey. That's it... 1982. And not in a good way.

No. Model 25 Danish shawl Santag. Interesting and timeless.
