Vogue Knitting Late Winter 2019: A Review
Vogue Knitting has published the winter 2019 issue ! Let's see, shall we?
Model no. 01, mosaic hat. A cute hat with a mosaic ribbon.
Model no. 02, mosaic cardigan. Very attractive and refined piece.
Model 03, mosaic V-neck cardigan. This one has very sharp detail on the mosaic yoke and contrasting tubes and buttons, although I'm not sure it would cover the entire body well in real life in an unprofessional model.
Model no. 04, collection. My God, this is so beautiful. The design, the panels, the curtains ... everything was perfect.
Model no. 05, lace mosaic veil. Beautiful! This color scheme works great.
Model no. 06, circular wrapping. This is a great design masterpiece. I think no one can accept it without a comment.
Style no. 07, hat. Beautiful and intricate stitching.
Model no. 08, leopard sweater. A well-thought-out interpretation of the classic leopard print.
Model no. 09, Gloriana cardigan. It's "Queen Elizabeth I gothic, then transforms into a Klondike dance girl". It's a pretty good technical feat, although I don't know how portable it is.
Model 10, the genius shrugs. It's a bit small in my opinion, but there's no denying it's a little evening sandwich dessert.
Style no. 11 Lillian and Rose 3-piece set. It is definitely more like a double line. It was like the costume from A Midsummer Night's Dream , where the actors performed a very sweaty dance.
Model no. 12, Fairy Square Island pullover. I agree with this, but there is no denying that this is a very attractive style on the island.
Model no. 13, hood with dog tooth. This is a fun update of the classic houndstooth scarf. Adding fields works great.
Model 14 V-Neck Cardigan Using a honeycomb pattern is good because it should be a layered cardigan.
Model 15, checkered shirt. Love bold and fresh designs, but there are better colors for it.
Model 16, sweater with diamond yoke. It is so effective and amazing for such a simple style.
Model no. 17, lace cardigan. I spent a few minutes looking at this design, trying to decide if I liked it or not, but I decided to move on to the question "I like it". The texture is lovely, the contrast straps and straps give it a shimmer, and the folded scarf choker is unusual yet dramatic and looks snug.
18. style, mohair shawl. This shawl has many ... three different "artistic" threads! They are the material for decorating the rods! sequins! Some lace patterns! bubble! Stripes of lace! One side! It's easy to get confused, but I think it works well overall, perhaps because the color palette is limited to well-integrated pinks and grays, as well as being part of the current vibe. It is an object that can be combined with a minimalist look as it is an expression in itself.
Model no. 19, striped shirt. I'm not a mullet friend, but I think it works in this case. It's long enough to feel like a design feature rather than a bug, and other designs have curves (like cord details on the back, gradient colors, stripes) that seem to naturally flow in asymmetrical shapes.
Model no. 20, hooded sweater. Great! The pattern is well done and I am sure it will look beautiful in both dark and warm colors, but what I like most is the contrast between the fresh and bright colors with the white. Until the summer!
Model no. 21, striped sweater and lace. There is nothing wrong there. I'm not a fan of mesh, but I have to admit that the combination of mesh and bright stripes creates a fun summer look.
Style no. 22 Pullover Block Block. At first glance I didn't like it, but after spending more time immersing myself in the details, I realized that it was the color that interacted with me because the design was great.
Model 23, sweater motif in animal skin. This model is featured in the Vogue Knitting Winter 1989/1990 issue. It's a classic shape, the neckline fits nicely, and while animal prints and patterns can increase and decrease a designer's reputation, they never go out of style.
