Vogue Knitting Spring & Summer 2019: A Review

Vogue Knitting was released in Spring/Summer 2019 , but before we look at the design featured there, I'd like to take this opportunity to note that longtime Vogue Knitting editor Trisha Malcolm is stepping down and moving into a new role at MezCrafts as a parent. Rowan Yarns Company : Best regards on transforming her career after working for Vogue Knitting for over twenty years. I know I'll never forget the first time I saw someone named Trisha Malcolm, something I liked on this blog's Facebook page in the first year of its existence, because I immediately learned the name but thought it couldn't be *Tricha Malcolm*, և how hard I breathed when I pressed it, yes it did. It will be interesting to see if Vogue Knitting will change, how it will change now that there is another person behind the wheel.

Pattern №1, scale hole. Suitable for the bride.

Style № 2, lace striped dress. Simple and stupid. I think it was a good invitation to add a belt to the image, because without it the situation looks a bit boring and baggy.

Pattern №3, jacket with a diamond pattern. Beautiful aerial view և. I would pat myself on the shoulders and play with the length of the fenders as it looks a bit awkward, although it's possible that if the owner adds a summer hat to the photo like in this model photo no one will deny this. .

Model № 4, cape cape. For me, it's irreversibly like a cover, I must admit, the lines are beautiful, that, like manual work, it succeeds.

Style № 5, short dress with lace skirt. There is a kind of bohemian chic in there.

Style № 6, shorts with eyelashes. It's a shame, even this professional model can't do it, despite her best efforts. You can change the pattern to a more comfortable one...or you can use another knitting pattern. your call!

Pattern №7, embroidered shawl. A good mini cape, although there are better yarn and bead combinations for this.

Style № 8, pink cardigans. It's a nice romantic touch with a touch of elegance, but alas, it reminds me a lot of the Aida bedspread collection I made as a gift for my mother when I was 17. It broke after one use in the washing machine, or I told it it can't be machine washed, դուք you might all understand when I move on to the next review, let alone more.

Motif 9, hole at the top. Nice little summer blouse with nice lines and good embroidery.

Style № 10, asymmetrical shirt. Modern և modern.

Model №11, tank model. It's very reasonable. This 1930s sportswear combined with modern horses is a wonderful combination.

Style № 12, v-neck blouse, everyday և simple and elegant.

Pattern № 13, Blazer in a pleated shirt. It has a very appealing light lace effect, but I can't help but think how appealing it will be to everyone . I will raise my lower shoulders.

Style № 14, mixed sweater. I like the design of this cool island except for the woven bandages which I will be replacing with something solid. With the current egg, the bottom layer will be needed for styling, which limits its usefulness for summer wear.

Style №15, Box T. I like this one with its visual stripes: messy atmosphere. It is certainly worth more than a jumpsuit with a skirt that looks like it was sewn from a used metal gift box.

Style № 16, foam shirt with suspenders in the back. I love this design with the ears, the fun striped ribbons and the yarn details so much that it definitely deserves the best color.

Pattern №17, patched sweater. I like this concept և it's really new, but the edges of the front grilles seem a bit uneven to really work. I sort of got ahead of them.

Style № 18, striped sweater. These nets always seem like a shopping bag to me, until I really manage to make clothes.

Style № 19, Tangram style dress. This one captured the audible "Ooooooo! From me when I first saw this on Vogue Knitting . The lines are good, the design is great, it's practical. I wouldn't say the colors play a big part in that, but in six months you'll be able to check out Ravelry members' stylesheets for this design.

Style № 20, lace jacket with sheets. It's the 1999 issue of Vogue Knitting Spring/Summer, isn't it amazing how modern it will be twenty years from now? I have this in my personal knitting library, bought an issue of this in my day but didn't get it. While it looks great through the yoke, for me a fit on the body is a DK's heaviness և those extras will be too much. However, since this item fits in a circular motion, has an all-over lace pattern, it will be difficult to find a way to shape the body (this may mean flat fabric under the armpits, require side seams, to be ashamed) . Finish embracing your generous lines.

Style № 21, sweater with a yoke in the form of a garden flower. very good!
