Vogue Knitting Spring & Summer 2019: A Review
Vogue Knitting has released a spring / summer 2019 issue, but before we take a look at the designs it includes, I want to take a moment to remind you that Trisha Malcolm, Vogue Knitting 's editor-in-chief, will be relocating. here at MezCrafts to get a new position at Rowan Yarn’s parent company . Congratulations on changing your career after more than twenty years in Vogue Knitting ! I know I will never forget someone like Trisha Malcolm on the Facebook page of this blog the first time I saw her in the first year of this blog's existence, because I knew her name quickly but ** * couldn't be Trisha Malcolm, and how I almost experienced hyperventilation One click yes when it proves so. It will also be interesting to see how Vogue Knitting changes as someone else drives it.
model number. 1, with a small shawl island. Perfect for brides!
model number. 2, striped lace dress. Easy and useful. I thought it would be a good idea to add a belt to see it, because without it the waist looks a little sad and loose.
model number. 3, tunic with diamond pattern. Beautiful and wide view. I will shrug my shoulders and play with the length of the sleeves because it looks a little awkward, although maybe if the outfit added a hat-like look to the look, as is done in this example photo, no one would. Realized
model number. 4, knitted cover. It was a great pity for me without any hope, even though I have to admit that the lines were great and the result was beautiful as part of the sewing.
Model 5, a small dress with a lace bottom , has a boho chic touch.
model number. 6, The island sweater is awkwardly cut , despite the best efforts of this professional model. The pattern can be changed to make it more flattering ... or another crochet pattern can be used. Your call!
model number. 7, white cloth. This is not a small wrapper, although there are better combinations of wires and beads for this purpose.
model number. 8, pink cardigan. It’s a beautiful piece with a subtle, romantic touch and a certain temperament, but sadly it reminds me of a very vivid set of Ida’s pink cross-stitch tablecloths that I gave as a gift to my mother when I was 17 years old. The old ones and the ones that were broken only after washing in the washing machine, even though I said they are not machine washable and I won’t say anything else, when we go to the next review everyone will understand.
Model 9, Grommet Top A great summer career with nice lines and seams.
model number. 10, asymmetric tank. Elegant and contemporary.
model number. 11, mold tank. He’s pretty smart. The sportswear of the 1930s takes on a contemporary form and is a fun combination.
model number. 12, V-neck graded blouse. It has a tremendous minimalist elegance.
Reason No. 13, large knitted sweater. It has a nice lace-up effect, but I can’t help but wonder how it would rip everything off. And he would lift his fallen shoulders.
model number. 14, dotted with a mixed yoke. I love everything about this wonderful island design except the filigree crochet headband, except for one that I’ll replace with something a little harder. According to this, the design will need a bottom layer, which limits the suitability for summer outfits.
model number. 15, Square T-Shirt I love this one, with the sheer seam and the deconstructed atmosphere. Definitely better than tying it to a skirt sewn with scrap metal wrapping paper.
model number. 16, bubble with clip on top tie. I really like its body trim, fun decorative lines and nice background detail and a better color combination that deserves it.
model number. 17, a sweater with a patchwork yoke. I like the idea here, which is pretty new, but the edges of the previous patches seem pretty unfinished to work with. I will avoid them somehow.
model number. 18, striped sweater. This fake cut always looks like a fake shopping bag, so it is very successful as a clothing design.
model number. 19, Tangram style dress. "Ooooh!" For me, when I first saw it, I enjoyed the knitted website . The lines are fine, the “not to be missed” design is striking and it’s a piece to carry. I can’t say that the color scheme does much for this, but within six months there will be something like looking at the Ravelry member model page for this design.
model number. 20, island lace tunic. This is a model for Vogue Knitting magazine in the spring of 1999, and isn't it amazing how contemporary it is twenty years later? I have it in my personal point library, I bought that number in the past, but I never did. Although it looks good on the yoke, I’m concerned about its size - it’s the weight of the DK and the extras will be heavy. However, since this piece has a round crochet pattern and lace, it can be difficult to find a way to fit the body (which means changing them to flat stitches under the arms and requiring side seams), which will be uncomfortable. the lines are cheap, the heart needs to be embraced.
model number. 21 Joel's sweater with garden flowers Very pretty!
