Cast On Fall 2018: A Review
Cast On has released their fall 2018 edition. Let's see, okay?
Austrian travel fashion hat. Classic cable cover.
Traditional sweater for babies and older children. Pretty good overall, but it will definitely fix those lame shoulders.
Saal cane vest. I was not very happy with the checkered waist layer in this design. It has an unpleasant appearance. I will reduce the depth and cut it as in handcuffs. The detail of the sleeves is enough to show this design.
Colon socks bavareze. These are the best pairs of socks I have seen in a long time.
Bavarian champion cover. A hood with some very interesting cables. However, it scares me because it looks like it is modeled after the Headless Knight.
Trik Berk. I'm not very interested in this, but there is a mod that will help. I will fix the lame shoulders, perhaps with a more finished skirt, and also will not use white, cream or any other light color than the main color in this design. In my experience, adding color to a light background never works because one's driving force is always visible, as you can see here.
Tunic for bird lovers. This is a great piece not to mention a lot of work because it is a high weight crochet thread that is crocheted in a size 0. The shoulders are a bit hanging but I will not fix it because I think they work in conjunction with this design in particular.
Contemporary Step I do not really sell a color palette here, but it is a beautiful traditional design and can easily be done in a more interesting color scheme with stripes or even solid colors.
Three-way veil and headband as well. These pieces have a very nice texture.
Evora. Oooh, that's beautiful and pretty mobile. The body is double knitted to be opaque, while the sleeves are translucent and some nice lace on the cuffs and edge complete the look perfectly. I think I have to do it myself.
honeycomb sweater Some good points in this that definitely deserves a better color than this pale purple.
Reversible wrist scarf with braids. Some good cables work in this regard.
Loud jump. I like the sleeves and silk details, but it will fit the lip and décolleté, which looks more perfect than the one used here.
Coverage for Morro Bay Golf Club. It is done extremely well and any golf club that owns a band like this is easily the best dressed club in town.
Orbit. This looks quite cute and restrained.
Patrick's vest. I like this stitching.
Sweater connected with cable with simulated triple optics. The good part in general. I’m not too sure what’s going on with the striped effect between the sleeves, but either way, I won’t do it because it looks weird and disturbing.
Game time Tulip Garden. The design is delightful, but does the subject look more like a radish than a tulip to others?
westerly wind. Beautiful classic cardigan.
Zigzag sweater. I have to give this a "not bad" carefully as I can only see a little.
