Rowan 40 Years: A Review

Rowan celebrated her 40th birthday with a special collection of 40 models from her archive . I've only reviewed six of their models over the years, so I've reviewed their Jubilee edition, which is the second time I've reviewed some designs. For fun, I log into the initial evaluation of my project from 2012 and speak if I agree with the word. When I started working on this review, I'd love to see Rowan really come back over the past 40 years to showcase around four decades of models. But that's not what they do. Most of these specimens date back to the last twenty years, the only one is from 1990. It was as if he were going to the Museum of Modern History that half of the exhibits were closed. But I understand why Rowan, the editor, does it. Fashion hasn't changed much in the last twenty years, it's easy to pick a modern and eye-catching design from 2018 standards over the past two decades, and the previous twenty designers would need some serious changes to make it work. especially when paying for newly published numbers.

ounce. This is an example from the year 2000. It's such a simple classic that I doubt it will look outdated.

Anis Shall. This package design looks like 2009. This beautiful scarf will never go out of style.

Winter flowers. This is a 2000 year old design. I like the light floral theme, eggs are good, it would be nice to choose this color shade.

Orkney. This sweater is from 2012. I reviewed it when it came out in 2012 , said I liked it in general, complained about how Scotland opens up. Of course, the sweater shape of the original model product does not help the design. It fits quite well here.

Carlotta. Since 2004. At first glance, I think this model dates back to the early 1980s; Ok, but I can decide if I can do it without tape. The detail of the rose is enough for me.

Aspirate. Since 2007. Pretty nice piece. I like intricate boxes.

Cardboard coat. I don't know when this design was released as it is not in Ravelry. In fact, it looks better in the original photo than in this photo, as it left the first model hanging. I like the details of the neck and cuff, but I couldn't help but feel a little bigger.

And go. Since 2002. It's amazing how the interior panels contrast with the traditional crotch. It really refreshed him into something else.

Agnes. Since 2004. The French knot actually does this job.

Wrap the soumak scarf. Since 2013. When I first reviewed it , I wrote, "The Sumak Scarf Cover is really impressive if you're the kind of person who wears a dramatic flip (and you can always do it. If you're not the same person, but you like the design, buy a double strand). several times of a beautiful model. "I think it is very correct It has a nice texture.

Addison. Since 2012. In the 2012 review, I wrote: "Normally I wouldn't wear a regular sweater, but I wanted to mention the things that stand out from this sweater. Easy but not unexpected position., You will have a great time wearing more than three or four intricate patterns of interesting sweaters. When I started blogging, I didn't follow all the magazine rules as I do now. I still think this is a simple pattern of very precious socks and deserves more interesting colors.

Tilly. Since 1999. Very nice:

Celini simple. I don't know when it was published because there are no Ravelry pages. I think she is one of those designers that most women find fragile. Even this professional model can't work much.

Guzeli. From 2009. On the contrary, beautiful dresses with a beautiful texture, which will give a lot of interest (warmth) to simple dresses.

Shami Bressay Hap. Since 2007. It has worked better than ever in what would have been Afghan-style leather, but still bears a strong resemblance to the former.

Passengers. Interesting and useful package from 2010.

unstable. Since 1991. And this design is from 1991, which was stylish at the time because it offers a large size and cut. I don't know why I didn't think I was getting a happy vibe at that time. I like the overall design of both sweaters but will change them to fit life.

Valentino. Since 2010. It cannot be denied that it is quite mystical. This is one of those shapes that you may not notice if you see someone on the street.

Dusty sweater. Since 2003. Beautiful view, beautiful. I would like to emphasize the importance of the "I love" idea that I saw in one of the photos of a Ravelry user I saw on this Ravelry model page. Add a thin layer of paint to the contour of the neck, wrist.

Kintyre. I have been writing since 2012 which is a "beautiful sweater" . And I have that bold and contradictory attitude.

Brocade. Luxury since 2005. I myself have been paying attention to this design for a long time.

Robinia. Since 2011. I love flowers, but I can't help but think I'll change them to make them taller. But I have to admit, this design looks great for Ravelry users who have woven it that way.

Flora. Since 2004. It's very ridiculous. The beautiful outline design transforms what can be a small striped sweater into something beautiful.

. Since 2009. Nice part.

Lydia. Since 2010. The Fair Island model is wonderful (it's the Fassett Coffee design), but I'm going to change it. From patterns created by Ravelry users, I see that many Rav users have done just that, using the Fair Isle pattern to make any jumper or leg jumper.

Celtic has been wearing a very attractive jacket since 2006.

Develop. Since 2001. Beautiful. This design also appears in a short version with no floral pattern inlay, but I think it would look better with a floral pattern.

Finish Kirkwall. Since 2012. This is what I said on my first step . . , it's hard to do in real life. I don't see a few women on the street wearing it.

fog. Since 1999. It's too minimalist for me, but I have to admit it's portable and looks good for all Ravelry users who have created it.

. Since 2013. Here's what I have to say about this design . "I wanted to see what really happened to Dhurria's design. It's like a sack wrapped in thread. I'm not crazy about that concept. Women's clothing can be opaque. Adding another piece from the big one won't improve the situation. .

Francis. Since 2014. Here is my 2014 tip for that. "I can't pull back (or more importantly, too) sweaters that are too large. They are embarrassing for most women, they 'take things', they look elegant overall. The overall design is pretty cool, but if it does. I did One. I would do it to the point, I would shrug. ". For now, I agree with 2014.

Marta. Since 2000. Clothes, classic cut.

Rapunzel. Since 2003, it seems like a lot to me in 2003, because everything that was in the empire at that time was alive. It still looks great and the sewing is wonderful.

Flora Mac Donald. Since 2001. I like bright stripes, tartan stripes, but I don't like square cut ponies.

Be quiet. Since 2010. It's a piece with a quiet elegance.

mountains. I don't know when this model is, because there doesn't seem to be a Ravelry page. She is such a great "person" where the model has enough time to try and make her look elegant.

decent. A wonderful striped jacket that has been lifting the mood since 2009.

Cardigan game table. Since 2000. He likes the square patterned thread used here, which works very well, but not printed.

snowman This is an example I couldn't find in Ravelry, so I don't know when it was first released. Very nice. I like the floral print on the edge of the picot, nice design too.

Olives. It's been pretty cool since 1999.
