Cast On Spring 2018: A Review

In today's post, we take a look at the Spring 2018 issue of Cast On magazine .





Children's beer jersey. It has beautiful stitching and I like the opposing keys. I add a little more endless edge garter stitching to the edges and corners.





With offer embroidery. Very interesting piece. The shape is good and the lace embroidery is beautiful.





Delia Children's Dress. This little dress looks like an Edwardian women's dress. Can't you imagine wearing something that looks like a woman from downtown Abby ? - However, it is comfortable enough for a modern toddler. I met a girl to do it.





Dragon cloak. I think it's part of what I want to see in a virtual conference as part of a game of thrones , but it seems weird in real life. The dragon is deceitful and the dragon greeting is wonderful, but the robe is uncomfortable, the connection between the black yoke and the main body of the garment seems rough, and the tip seems incomplete.





Covered above. Oh, I wish I had such a beautiful line and hung it nicely. The assembled tip on the split end and the cut end will give you all the details you need. It's a bit long. I want to shorten it to the length of my boots or take it all off and make a skirt over shirt-type underwear.





Drum of bees and snowflakes. That's not a bad thing, but gradual painting doesn't really work.





Dress with bow. Useful parts to order.





Argyle Illusion scarf. This is a fun and modern style in an argyle scarf. I add a border around the edge.





Less butterfly stop. The straps look very thin and unattractive. I want to make it at least a little fat. They are similar to i-cords. I'd like to tie all three wires together or maybe tie the i-string to a thick chain to make a whip.





A little sweater and sweater with ruffles. I like it a lot, but I don't think it would look better with the sleeveless tights and the loose dress. Needless to say, he is not really dressed up and attractive, and I am happy to meet two girls who have come to dress up.





Small Arán Palosanto. I straighten the awkward sloping shoulder and cut through the ribcage, which is deep enough and removes the troublesome edges in the middle of the face.





Mayfair cardigan. Very good piece.

Loose top and dress. This would be a good collection for a little girl (and for adults she is very small and very small). I like to do it in a fun color because it's kind of blah.





Dr t-shirt. This design, which combines DNA and cadmium strands, is well designed, but I don't think it would be more useful to wear as a garment for a real doctor. As an editor, it would be nice to submit a canceled version of this sweater, but I don't wear it.





A wool dress covered in rose gold. It is quite formless and weak.

Spring Illusion Napkins. It seemed a bit rough around the edges, but I couldn't use it anymore, so it was hard for me to sell sticky kitchen towels. But I know a lot of people love tacky dish towels, and from the pattern description, this would be a great way to practice a nightmare sweater.





Summer shoulder scarf. Attractive little cover.





Turica Shaul. This is a fun and modern piece.





The top rope in two colors. Good design. I don't think the colors used here will help with that, but it would be fun to come up with your own color scheme.





Embroidered whirlpool cap. According to one hat designer, "In recent years, large barn squares, homes, and commercial buildings have been erected in northern Vermont. It reminds me of a story I read a few years ago about a woman who used a bottle of nails to make his car looks like a giant crazy blanket .
