Cast On Summer 2019: A Review
Cast On released a Summer 2019 . Come on, shall we?
Food with ant eggs. I hate using woven dishcloths (I think they're awesome and gross and dirty compared to washable J-towels) and I don't particularly like the idea of adding bug eggs to my food. Towels, but instead of the usual cotton yarn, this designer tried something new in this project, and in this issue he designed two more kitchen towels, experimenting with linen yarn. He wrote in a conversion that the linen kitchen towels "dry quickly and make incredibly good food, and we don't smell like prototypes. These would also be great for exfoliating!" If you prefer woven kitchen towels (and many do), you might want to use hemp yarn the next time you make a towel.
The Chevron scarf has almost disappeared . It's a striking lace pattern, although I can't say this color combination matches the design.
Dressing on PC basket. If it's hot pink and blue, it will look like the stills from the 80s tutorial video and should have been there.
Bubble, bubble, bubble. Worthy of worship!
Breton shawl. I like the modern environment.
Braid sweater. The seams are attractive and snug, but wearing lingerie with a sweater is still a bit awkward as it will make the dress look bad.
Clara's cropped jacket. This jacket is very carefully designed and made and the knitting of the overall pattern is a nice touch.
Hood with torsion bar. Not a bad design, but it calms me down and makes me nervous.
Italic linen top. It's not terrible, but I'll do it with a more interesting rope, that is, with another rope.
Easton tunic. I'm here for the brooches, the art deco details, and a combination of those yarns.
Striped Fibonacci sweater. It has a very unusual color and works incredibly well, especially when combined with a saddle shoulder design.
Fisherman's Rib Stadium Scarf. Ordinary classic stadium scarf.
Ghazali Chakra. Not bad. Color scheme and bee embroidery go well together.
Decorate I really like this bright block dress and want it to look like a fun color.
Hemp summer skirt. Here in this look paired with a 1940s lampshade inspired skirt we have a boring old double breasted jacket. While there's nothing objectively wrong with the design of a vest or skirt, I'm not sure if the two pieces do anything for each other - they're not stylistically inclusive - and I won't do any pattern drawing either. .
Folding gloves. Gloved version of the title above here. It's still not bad in terms of design, it still looks from the inside and it curls up.
Monaghan. These are usually easily sold in Celtic drawstring patterns and this cardigan is very comfortable and attractive to wear.
Storm. A simple brioche scarf with a touch of colorblock. That works.
Jarty tea towel with saffron and curry. The saffron and curry color combinations cause some slight retinal burn, but I like the dots used here.
Wearable ribbed sweater. Not bad. I like the idea of using a stripe in the center to switch between two blocks of color.
Put on the deer horns. We have a cover design and it was a good choice because the shape and the seams are nice and the result is beautiful, especially in this Robin Egg Blue.
Summer tables and stands. I find their handmade home very appealing and imagine them with matching pots and plates on a sunny breakfast table.
Wrap the block pieces. I like the point here.
Knitted bottom and top socks. I love the very interesting pair of socks and the braid pattern.
Waffle pattern socks. I love their sporty and trendy look with a combination of fun plaid patterns and striped corners.
