Knitty First Fall 2019: A Review

Knitty released its first edition in the fall of 2019 . Let's see, okay?





Callan. This bag has an attractive casual look, and it will be interesting to choose a color scheme.





roadblock. This quilt looks like a classic Breton sweater paired with nautical ropes, which is why I'm here. Very nautical.





Last night I dreamed of a classic beanie knitted with a reverse cord, which is always a nice touch.





Mrs. rabbit clutches. Inspired by the work of Beatrix Potter, this hood and glove set has an interesting mesh construction. Even if you think you'll never make this game, take a look at a sample page that has a great article on Potter's biography, illustrated with some beautiful watercolor drawings.





Britton advice. It's an interesting renovation of the Fair Isle jacket, and it has a fresh, modern twist. I think the combination of plain background on the yoke gives the yoke a covered look, the use of simple diamonds on the yoke and minimal detailing on the body of the jacket. The shape is good too.





to walk. The design is quite from the 80s, although the soft colors are modern. It's funny in its own way, but it will fix those droopy shoulders.





Flight on the plane. I love them so much and add them to my favorite sock patterns at Ravelry, which I hope to do in 2020.





you do not like me. It's definitely the '80s, and of course the sample name is very '80s specific (and it gave me a bad catchy tone). It's a fun and perfect piece of clothing when you imagine dancing under a strong light at an 80's ballroom.





Bremen city bag. Oh, this is a fun design that makes me smile. Good for smart and brave pets who come together and beat a gang of thieves and live a happy and comfortable life after being abandoned by their ruthless owners for being too old. I can only wish the top edge had a slightly nicer finish and/or had a flap.





Ozzie possum. I'm trying to overcome my absolute hatred of opossums and give this design an honest review so I say this design is really good and makes horrible rodents look cute and cute and now I'm going to do something like as soon as possible, do something - or distract from the presence of the opossum itself.
