Cast On Winter 2017/2018: A Review

Cast On has released the winter version 2017/2018 . We see.

Velvet for Gus. The vest has a car chain built into the back seam on a knitted background. It's a great idea, but the car is very hard to see.

Apurmakin's hat. It's fun, bright, and attention-grabbing. The color palette is also beautifully executed and technically flawless.

Black and white hat. This is very reasonable. I love the Christmas tree motif.

Black and white gloves. I don't really like gloves and hats. Pointy gloves have always seemed too far away to me, although I know that this is a long-standing traditional style.

Bubble tunic. I'm not sure if this works enough. The overall style has a very solid feel and the bubble pattern is very casual and easy to work with. I love the idea of the cuffs and contrasting buttons on the side fans combined with the inlay on the yoke, but I'll replace the bubbles with a more detailed pattern.

Act. The combination of square collar and confetti cuffs on the gray body of this sweater did not suit me very well. It was similar to what was worn by eccentric families of the Puritan period, such as Aunt Chastity, who found it ridiculous to read the Ten Commandments irregularly and lock people in closets.

Celtic night cover. I love the beautiful design and its offbeat colors to reflect the Northern Lights.

There is a fair on the Island of Fairy Tales. I think I liked it - the Scottish band is doing really well - but I'd like to see it a little better to be sure.

Top dragonfly. Oh, that's weird. I'm not sure I haven't seen the dragonflies used as a motif at the island fair, but now I suddenly want to see them more often. The color scheme has a fuzzy, dreamy quality that works really well.

Cricket ski trailer. I tried to use it as a bandage, not as a bandage, but still the dragonfly motif is very cute.

Icarus Infertility Scarf. This is a very elegant product.

Nikko cardigan. I really don't like this adapter cover because it looks too rough for the pretty smooth parts. I would replace them with interesting handles and straighten the drooping shoulders, let them droop a little and can stay as they are.

Cardi Nosegay. It's really nice. I love the combination of flower stems with lace in the form of a hairpin, which gives the feeling of a “summer day in the country”.

Wheat chain socks. It's pretty cool.

Where do poncho snakes go? The design is pretty cool and even chic... but as someone who doesn't have poncho friends, I can't help but think how good this afghan is.

Winter morning socks with cocoa. So. The patterns of snowflakes and leafless trees in rhombuses are very fun and creative for clay socks.
