Cast On Winter 2018/2019: A Review
Cast On has published the winter edition 2018/2019. Let's see that, shall we?
open yard. Nice shiny hood.
All-round sweater with diamond. This has a fun and playful idea and would be a great way to use up a bit of yarn.
austin Choose a thread ribbon effect for the dash and dot pattern.
Avila Wind. It has attractive stitching and a rather elegant look.
The Book of Kell's Sweater. I always sell light Celtic designs. I'm thinking of bringing the decorative panels back a few inches south.
Moss stone scarf. Such a beautiful texture.
Fingerless Easy Flesh PC cable. Classic thread gloves.
A fleur de lis toque. I'm not a fan of hers, but the color scheme means nothing to her.
genomic hat. Sweet baby hat. I'd be tempted to give kids fake beards, but I am.
melody echo. Classic wool sweater.
heart sweater. It's more feminine and catchy, but deserves a happier color.
Over the horizon. There's a 1970s vibe, but not the best. Maybe I'd like it better in a different color scheme?
Inca band. I don't know how many people can afford this look.
Kim and Greer. A fun idea, but these flowers don't go very well - they look a little flimsy and flat.
Megan's hat. It has a blinding effect.
Megan's gloves. That and the cylinder would be a great kit.
minute scarf. Classic lace scarf.
Solomon Islands cardigan. Not bad, although I would recommend a different color. After all, there is no other color.
summer wind. It has an oddly proportioned appearance.
Swedish block scarf. Simple, attractive and affordable.
Terezi's Flip Puppet. I have some stuff for Topsy Turvy dolls but not particularly this one which seems a bit related.
shoes with nails. Very convenient. It always seems like a little heartbeat that makes me smile.
Warm clothing. Another pair of classic wire gloves.
Cardigan with wasp wings. This is a fine tip.
