Cast On Winter 2019-2020: A Review

Today we take a look at the designs of the Cast On version ৷ Winter 2019-2020 at

Ribbed button cushion. This is a machine knit pattern, although it can easily be done by hand. Although I love the checkered line and the lace beads and the ribbon itself, I find the combination of all of these elements a bit too messy, but of course you can omit any details that seem too much to you.

Skirt with cable insert. Knitted skirts have an annoying tendency to be biased and I'm afraid this is one of them. I would like to see a real person before I dare to take this photo.

Calypso Crescent. It's pretty good looking, although it has more attractive and sophisticated color options.

carat tunic. Not bad for a warm and cozy Winter Stay Indoor sweater, but I'm not sure if too long side slits caught my eye and suspect a mullet hem.

Joy color gloves. It would be a big mess.

Davos The turtleneck sweater is classic and very interesting. The collar is beautiful and the silhouette is superb.

Cervical pillow interlacing. It looks like a bag that closes with a drawstring.

False pleated skirt. This skirt has really cute stripes and is amazing to look at. She deserves more elegant buttons than that.

keyhole scarf I like the design, but the color burns the retina a bit.

Sweater with Armenian Lily. The triangle/diamond and lily pattern combination is a combination of a strange pattern, so the resulting sweater looks a little strange.

Lily of the valley. Not bad. I think if it's wool, it should be worn over it unless you're knitting with cotton for the summer.

tank top. It's supposed to be a matching men's top, but I can't imagine any man I know would be up for this type of dress. Of course, my life lacks mourning for stylish, ripped men.

Plated lace cardigan. Very interesting part. The detail of the back pleats is very interesting.

Queen. It is a combination of brooch and entrelac techniques. So if you like choosing a technical challenge and an interesting color journey, this project might be for you.

Retro Knit Table Mate Set. They look like they came straight from a hardware store and will add an expensive bohemian and bohemian look to your table.

Cows S'mores. Enchanting: The subtle, muted design and colors are attractive.

"Cable" beanie with topstitching. Very pretty! I love the shiny look of the cut chain stitch ribbon on the regular ribs.

Cushion with square buttons in Entrelac. I don't think so - it looks quite raw and old - but I also have to admit that I'm not a fan of Entrelac in general as it has a strong tendency to sound like that.

Top Super Bingo. This sweater is quite faded and distorted. Honestly, things might look a little better on a model that actually fits, but nothing to write home about.

Tesser's Hood. Interesting and a little dazzling.

triangular scarf. It's a very nice piece and seems like the sort of thing for one of Bront's heroines. I don't think I can make it work with my outfit, but I'm sure there are women out there who appreciate the slightly Victorian flavor of their accessories. Tip: If you make it for yourself and rush to Rochester or Heathcliff while wearing it, keep looking. Evil has a new enemy.
