Creative Knitting Spring 2018: A Review

Today we take a look at the spring 2018 issue of Creative Knitting magazine .

Under the pier. This is a pretty interesting piece, but I can not help but think that given its rectangular shape, which is a tough shape for a scarf, it would look better if left on the sofa.

Buttercup tunic. There is a nice stitch, but this too long sleeve and body length is not suitable for all women. However, it is easy to trim the design depending on the target user.

running vest. Not a fan of this. Open front cardigans tend to look very small (and this is no exception) and rounded edges look messy.

Sailing cows. This is a cute little scarf.

Elland had to. This is a beautiful film with excellent shape and texture.

Carnations are everywhere. This is not bad. The asymmetrical panels on the front can make me a little nervous, but I will do my best to remove them completely because they look really weird. It would be interesting to knit this sweater with crazy colorful yarn and wear it with jeans.

Hello cardigans. With a gathered yoke and short sleeves, this item looks really delightful. Personally, I really can not bring out this picture, but it would be fantastic for a guy who can.

Peach sweater. Standard blouse. This should be done on a topic of interest.

Vest Prinsville. I'm not a fan of this, but I thought it would be better if it was made from a nicer yarn with more attractive ribbon. It looks a bit too simple and believable and because it has the look of a 1920s lingerie, and I'm not talking about the lingerie found on a 1920s girl dancing Charleston and holding a bottle in one of her arizas.

Red Sky. Not bad. Nice fit and cut.

replace the fir. Good advice.

Stolen Skygate. I like the gradient colors used here and the stitching is great, but I wish the stylist had chosen something other than the rectangular shape.

Delicate handkerchief. It's quite entertaining in an unconventional way. I can not help but feel that scarves here are not the best in style and do not stand out.

Temple Valley Vest. I'm not a fan of those long vests. They are impractical and not very flattering. Even these professional models do not fully match the regular styles and poses.

Top screen shirt. I like the fan pattern on the yoke and it is a nice shape but I will shorten the sleeves and neckline a bit to give it a finished look. This part is clearly torn.

Water drop sweater. Excellent fit and finish and I like that this stylist has done something new with the tube pattern giving the onions a teardrop shape.
