Creative Knitting Winter 2018: A Review
Creative Knitting has released its Winter 2018 Edition . let's see, okay?
Bell-shaped sweater. Attractive and usable. I like the detailed cuffs.
McDowell cardigan. A draped cardigan can be a problem, but this one looks good and has a certain casual elegance to it as well.
Tea coat with pear sauce. Classic cardigan with cables.
Stoffer's tunic. There is some amazing cable work here. It's like demonstrating different models and working together as a whole.
Alin's vest. Nice little beak.
Dunbar sweater. I really like this one, which differs slightly with its homemade wrap effect on the cuffs and hem.
Kenya shirt. It has a nice shape and details and the neck fits well.
Van Campen cardigan. Modern traditional fashion.
Earl Gray hat and scarf. A striking hat and scarf set with vibrant details that goes with almost any coat.
Koonce pillows and sheets. This is a perfectly reasonable effect. The combination of pillows and bedspreads really makes it stand out.
Manchester shot. The embroidery looks nice, but the thread used in this project is not needed. The color scheme is so dirty and muddy that it's hard to even consider the design.
Ontangy Scarf. Nice coat
Plum blanket and pillow. Nice blankets and pillows but thought I'd do something different with the pillows to tie them to the duvet a little better. If I want a light gray I'll make it garter stitch and if I want to use plum and gray I'll make a two tone stitch used in the center of the quilt. Alternating bands of both models can also be a good option.
Engelman's hat. That's pretty drastic.
Fletcher Tam. This is a very pretty piece, although I would prefer to see the pattern on the top of the hat.
Librik Hat. nice hat!
bad hat. Not bad.
