Interweave Crochet Winter 2020: A Review

Today, a short detour through the site. I've never looked at crochet magazines, but I've thought of them many times over the years. In the end I decided to try the crochet design and see how I do it and what the response is. I know how to crochet (received here and here ) and I've talked about the value of crocheting , but I'm not as good at crocheting as I am, so I hope you'll all be with me as I take stock. hook - or should I say a real hook? - Following the review of the winter issue of Interweave Crochet for 2020 .

Shoot Bergshrund's shoulders. That's not a bad thing - it hangs pretty well and is easy enough to work with a variety of images. The back also looks good.

But I can't say I'm interested in the second proposed way of wearing this top on my shoulders - it looks gross and awkward, and I want to note that the owner wore it in the dark and didn't wear it. did not. from the same. shimmer.

Carmine cape. The Tunisian stitch looks a bit coarse for my taste, but the pride of the style department made this scarf look almost elegant.

Chain scarf. Two-tone relief - quite a decent effect.

Cold snowman. It's very pretty, but I think this snowman will ignore me if I ask him the way to the North Pole.

Cooper's sickle. Pretty simple, but quite portable.

Drumlin Snake. I love the texture and yarn used here and it fits really well.

Thanks Capi. It is good to use a gradient yarn and a simple crinkle texture.

Capellet tree. I'm really not selling this hooded cape that looks too much like an amorphous mass eating this woman's head.

Folding gloves. Not bad. I can't help but think wistfully of what they look like with a pair of knitted gloves. ;)

Newspaper cover. I like the idea, but I find it a little crude. I would rather the research section use a crochet sewing machine instead of using that irregular solid stitch. One of the photos below shows the original cover of the notebook, which worries me, but I don't know how to hide it completely.

Kame Cole. I don't like it very much, but I think I would have liked it more if it weren't for the color scheme. These colors of gray and water do nothing for each other.

Ogiba vest. I suspect how this pretty thistle sits and/or hangs if the owner doesn't pull it with both hands.

Randkluft serp. It looks cozy, "garbage that ended up at random points in a row."

Romeo Cowle. I really immerse myself in the contemporary spirit of this work of art. It is Tunisian crochet, which is why it looks very similar to knit work.

Sashiko pouch. Sasiko is a form of Japanese embroidery from the 17th century . The embroidery of this small pouch which follows this tradition is really elegant and exciting.

Serac sweater. It is written on the neck: "Kiss and be comfortable!". The open texture says, "Have an intimate encounter with all the rough, uneven, or rough surfaces around you!" I can't deny that I love the look of this piece, but it's very practical.

Sheepskin scarf. Nice cover.

Small headband. I think if you've ever wanted your child or pet to look illegal, this might be it. For a slightly more practical note, it will also act as a bib and will be an opportunity for beginners to deepen the technique of Tunisian crochet.
