Interweave Crochet Winter 2020: A Review

Today's post is a bit of a backyard. I've never reviewed a knitting magazine, but I've been asked many times over the years to consider it. Finally, I decided that what I really needed to do was change my crochet pattern and see how it worked. I don't like it (bills are here and here ) and I've talked about the value of dislikes, but I'm not as good at dislikes as I am today, so I hope you'll all bear it with me as I get a point. - or should I say a real hit? - Check out the winter 2020 edition of Interweave Crochet .

Bergschrund's shoulder. This isn't a bad thing at all - it's pretty good and easy enough to work with different views. The back also looks good.

But I can't say that I'm interested in this second suggested way of laying shoulders: it looks confusing and uncomfortable, and I would think that anyone who uses it puts it in the dark and doesn't see it. from yourself to the mirror.

Carmine's back. Tunisian sewing looks a bit rough to my liking, but congratulations to the style department for making this scarf almost stylish.

Chain scarf. The two-tone relief is a pretty good effect.

Cold snowman. Okay, but I have a feeling this snowman will ignore me if he asks for directions to the North Pole.

Cooper Zapia. Simple enough, but mobile enough.

Zapia Drumlin. I love the texture and yarn used here and this wrap is great.

Thank you Cowl. Good use of simple gradient yarn and weave.

Firn Capelet. I'm not selling this hooded hat, which looks like an amorphous wave eating this woman's head.

Fold the cuffs. Not bad. I can't help but think of the look of some knitted towels.)

Magazine cover. I like the idea, but it seems a bit harsh to me. I need to use these irregular pieces to sew a piece of leather with a leather sewing machine. It can be seen at the bottom of the original notebook cover in one of the poses, which makes me cringe, but I don't know how to hide it completely.

Kame Cow. I don't really like it, but I think I would like it more if it weren't for the color scheme. These shades of gray and aqua do nothing for each other.

Give me a sweater. My suspicion is that this fun card will not be found and/or stuck if it is not drawn with both hands.

Serp Randkluft. This appears to be a random, "crochet hook made from waste yarn ending in a random sequence of stitches."

Rimaye Cow. I completely immersed myself in the contemporary setting of this art object . This is a Tunisian hook crochet, so it's very similar to crochet.

Sashiko sling bag. Sashiko is a form of 17th century Japanese embroidery . The small bunch embroidery of this tradition is quite ingenious and surprising.

Fanella and Serac. The necklace says: "Kiss and be comfortable!" The open stitch texture says: "Get intimate encounter with all the rough sketches and extensions/surfaces around you!" I can't deny that I really like the look of this piece, but that's impossible.

You're welcome. Nice packaging.

Small bandana. I think if you've always wanted your child or small pet to look illegal, that might be the one. On a slightly more practical note, it will also serve as a tail and will be an opportunity for beginners to develop Tunisian crochet techniques.
