Knit Simple Holiday 2019: A Review
Today we take a look at the 2019 Simple Holiday edition .
Model 01. Writers. It's a pair of beautiful, simple fingerless gloves with some unadorned nonsense.
Pattern 0, embroidered fabric. I'm a little upset. It's an attractive handmade piece, but I can't help but think it's a lot like a scarf to wear as an outfit.
Pattern 03 with embroidered sweater. This doesn't work for me either. It has a slightly riveted shape and the embroidery looks a bit chaotic - it doesn't add or detract from the overall look, but it's just... there it is.
Model 04, Cap; and model no. 05, be. The scarf is fine, but the shape of this hat is something. In this season of icy sidewalks, is it fashionable now to wear a hat?
Model No. 06, glove. Thicker and more informal embroidery. Seriously, a simple ribbon or beautiful island pattern would be a huge upgrade.
Model 07, embroidered gloves. This embroidery is supposed to be a "flower motif", but it looks like a tangled ball of yarn.
Model No. 08, snowflake cap; and model no. 09, snowflake sickle. This is a wonderful team. The embroidered snowflakes look like snowflakes and I like the white to red effect.
Model 10, Snowflake Sweater. Very similar to this. It's simple, pretty and very comfortable to wear, and I'll dress the same: with a little cardboard background.
Model 11, snow jumper. I like the knit part of this sweater, but this chunky embroidery is useless. Embroidered motifs can be racy when knitted. It can be very impressive and looks like it was done by a five year old.
Model No. 12, wrong side snowflake quilt. it's okay.
Model No. 13, threaded snowflake hat. Very good hat for a child. It's pretty without being pretty.
Model 14, striped scarf. I'm crazy about it. I like the modern game of lines better, but it's not attractive enough. I think the problem is in the color combination: this charcoal does not go well with dusty pink and pink. I'll do it with a more neutral color for a lighter look and better portability.
Model No. 15, Manserp. It's hard for my taste, but the thread is attractive and I think it works in general.
Model No. 16, capsule. Overall it's a good part, but I didn't like the detail of the necklace which seems unfinished.
Model 17, Family Socks. These are basic socks. Looks like it will be a good sock for an inexperienced trainer.
Model No. 18, Manse-pet. Very good basic hat.
Model No. 19 and no. 20, completely online. Beautiful and classic set.
Model No. 21, Doreza reindeer. It's a bit silly, but I have to admit that things like this will make even the smallest child happy.
Model 22, Rim. The pin adds style and visual interest to this simple headband.
Model 23, long hood. Simple good things. The repetition of the pocket lines with the help of gradient yarn gives this hood the interest it needs.
Model 24, side braided sweater. I like the look of this, but am concerned what it will be like if the owner isn't set up to get the most out of this model. If you let this sweater hang for a natural look, it will be a bit full in the middle.
Model 25, decorated fabric. Attractive and portable. This scarf will go almost anywhere and with almost any outfit.
Model No. 26, open cloth. Handsome!
Model 27, waterfall sweater. Looks like it was made out of gauze shopping bags... in five minutes.
Model No. 28, fingerless gloves. Beautiful and portable.
Model 29, Throwing Fire. Good article, but I can't believe it will look better with a head start.
Model 30, Mosaic Cushions. It has an attractive texture. The color scheme is boring, but of course it's easy to adjust.
No. 31, linen basket. Your basic wicker basket.
Model 32, midpoint mattress. This is too "cool" for me. Knit patterns should have a bit more color than a plain crepe knit strap.
Model 33, Pillow and lapgan. I like to throw it away, but the pillow can be recreated. I'll remove the edges and do the entire cushion with stripes and stitches, or maybe add a knit skirt to the socks like I did with the Afghan.
