Knit Simple Winter 2017: A Review

In today's post we take a look at Knit Simple 's winter 2017 edition .

Model No. 1, large neck. There's nothing objectively wrong with it, but I'm sure I would have liked my favorite lemon curd.

Model #2 Textured Socks. I don't like textures very much: it doesn't look nice lying on your feet.

Model No. 3, shawl collar waistcoat. It's a little too unstructured to work with. The edges seem to have flipped unexpectedly rather than because of the design.

Lecture #4, Cozies Cup. I've never seen the importance of a cozy glass, surely coffee, hot chocolate and the like should drip or spill and wash.

Model #5, hot water bottle cover. Hot water bottles make more sense because they tend to be attractive, and with a nice sweater, what could be more attractive and comfortable than a hot water bottle?

Model No. 6, poncho with spiral thread. Not bad, but like most ponchos, I can't help but think it'll look better than an afghan one.

Model #7, Texture Pillow. A beautiful and useful piece that will look great on many sofas.

Model No. 8, lace scarf. Lace is beautiful, but when I have a rectangular crochet scarf like this, I always feel uncomfortable with the style.

Model No. 9 Rolled Blanket. Classic cable from Afghanistan.

Lecture #10, crested nerve. It's simple, but you can always improve it by making it beautiful and attractive.

Model No. 11 Colored Block Hat. Classic striped hats come in handy and are a great way to use bonuses and thread stitches.

Model #12, Chevron Chapel. Chevron is an efficient and attractive model.

Model No. 13, deceived chap. Very nice standard cap.

Model No. 14 Fair Island hat. It looks very pretty although I wouldn't call it an island festival.

Model No. 15 two-tone striped cap. An interesting combination of texture and lines.

Model 16, bobble hat. I don't really like the rolled edges which makes it look unfinished.

Model No. 17, chapel borladun. Not bad. I prefer tassels over pom poms because I think they are appropriate for adults.

Model No. 18, white bear jacket, hat and gloves. The gloves are nice, but I don't care if the hat or jacket looks awkward and salty.

Model No. 19, a white bear pillow. He was one of those square polar bears.

Model No. 20, bear cub hat and sweater. It's pretty cute without looking "too busy" in the previous sweaters' themed sweaters, hats, and gloves.

Model No. 21, a turtleneck sweater.
Nice texture, shape and gradient effects.

Model No. 22, waistcoat with three-quarter sleeves. I prefer the light color of it and the way it sits down the front, but the silhouette on the body and sleeves is so loose and baggy that the overall look doesn't work.

Model No. 23, narrow scarf. A little nice. The border motif is interesting.

Model No. 24, Long Veil. Simple enough but it will work.

Lecture No. 25, Linen Knit Scarf. I like the linen knit effect but I don't like the color palette used here. I'll limit that too.

Model No. 26, Trellie Chapel. Simple but beautiful effect.

Model No. 27, Wrapped Blanket. It's not a bad way to keep your baby warm while still giving them space to kick and change.
