Knitscene Fall 2017: A Review

Knitscene has released its fall 2017 version. Let's take a look, right?





Cardigan stuffed with spices. Sometimes I say in my comments that the article is about a mother of seven children who is tired and depressed. This is definitely a design from that lookbook. In this case, my mom didn’t even try to get dressed, just threw a shapeless, long, loose sweater over her nightgown, and at the end of the day, dyed it with peanut butter and buttermilk.





Arkins poncho. I'm not a big fan of ponchos, but it fits quite well and those stitches are great.





Gray cardigan. It feels like an unhappy marriage between the 80s Shaker knitwear and the 90s grunge style.





Shami Blake. And here we have a cover design. The texture is excellent.





Brighton hat. cute hat





Chili cardigan. The stitches on the front edges and cuffs are nice and in great condition, but I'm worried the pattern will pull the edges or hold them with each pass.





Cranberry Cardigan. It looks very thin and bumpy.





Marine blue vest. It looked loose and it was as if the knitting that guided it did not have enough yarn to weave a ribbon along all the front edges, so he decided to do it and introduced it as a design element.





Cardigan in the hills. This sweater consists of two flat parts and has the shape of a combination of a scarf at the top and a sweater at the bottom. And I like the concept, but I wish the bottom half of the sweater fits better.





Doreza Logan. Simple and useful gloves.





October sweater. It appears to have been collected from textile waste.





vest farash. It would not be so bad if the bent shoulders were straightened, but this is nothing special.





walnut head. I like the texture in it, but I do not like the curly and unfinished edges. On this head I would place a border sewn with mosaic.





Weston socks. A pair of classic ankle socks. Which I would not associate with a pair of heels with key straps.





Smoked white cardigan. Some nice touches on that. The back looks great. I would always like my body to be a little better, but because of the problem with dark flared jackets this is the best.





Prangat Wynkoop. These boot cuffs are not bad when it comes to cables and bundles, but the addition of edges to the boot cuffs makes the user look like he has recently been up to his ankle in rats.
