Knitscene Fall 2018: A Review
Knitscene has released their Fall 2018 release. Let's look at it, what are we?
Francois sweater. Not bad. The open rope in the middle of the sleeves gives a modern look to the classic sweater design.
Felicity jersey. Beautiful one. I would like to include lace in the wire pattern.
Greta Cardigan. Another nice modern twist on a cardigan with string, but I'll do a mullet skirt. There is nothing modern or great about mallet.
Lucy's sweater. I like the Art Deco Vibe and the detailed cuffs of the cable-top device, but I would straighten the drop shoulder.
Olivia sweater. Extremely smart and bright.
Susie Cardigan. Really attractive and portable with interesting details of the rear cable. I thought I would do it for myself.
Natalie Trui. The designer tried to bring some symmetry to this detail, but failed to achieve the inverse balance required for inequality. One arm is simple with a rope, the other is straight, and all these details are 2/3 below the body, it has winged sides and the bottom is heavy.
Eleanor Mittens. These are so big and uncomfortable that they look more like oven meat than cold weather gloves.
Wendy Cowell. Beautiful one. This is an interesting graphic example.
Marco top. Honestly, the somewhat spacious store, which some editors have decided to include because it does not meet the quota of model numbers for the part (and in a more intelligible style of outerwear), looks like a storage room.
Kate Cardigan. She has a sweet, cheerful and youthful look. A game of beautiful shapes and colors.
Ingrid Frokey. It will be a useful top cover for fall. And if you choose a bright color like this, it is a way to decorate the user's day.
Uncut scarf. Very nice embroidery inside. It's like an art print.
Beatrice swimsuit. I like the idea of lace, but not the lace hanging under the skirt of a sweater. It looks like an error. I would straighten the skirt of the sweater.
Helen Cowell. There is a really interesting embroidery here and I like the combination of turquoise and copper.
(At least as of this writing, there are no Ravelry pages or three other pages to follow for this title.) I love this Sea View page.
With a simple but effective footprint, I like it too.
A carousel is a great way to showcase your feed.
I like the combination of tea, light green and white, garter and knit. They have framed themselves.
Claire Jersey. The stylish insert has details and the shape is perfect.
