Knitscene Summer 2019: A Review
Nietzsche has published the 2019 summer edition . Let's take a look at that, shall we?
Shawl in patterned lace. An interesting combination of traditional lace ornaments with a modern mohair strip.
"Beacon Fire" cardigan. This design has some interesting textures and details, but I'm not sure it hangs that well.
Butterfly gloves. They are as beautiful as adults.
New growth threshold. Beautiful and well crafted embroidery is a lovely touch.
Heart hat and socks set repair. What a nice set. These 'curse style' patterned hearts look great against a background of plain colored blocks.
In the cardigan. I can't help but think it would look better if it was big enough for this model.
Shiny shawl. What a nice point.
One-piece market bag. This lined bag with thin straps is portable and won't last long until folded.
Bright sweater. It will be a very beautiful and useful summer desktop.
Above the glow point. It looks fun and interesting.
Exothermic mesh. I'm not a fan of both the open shoulders and the wide open shape, but it's a good example of its kind. Good shape, attractive sewing.
Flame dress. Very nice edge on it.
Band cap effect. The embroidery on this hat is supposed to look like fireworks, but I think it looks like an unfortunate amoeba attacking the wearer's brain.
Blanket on fire. Attractive shawl in a modern style.
It sparkles from above. For a woman who sees Daisy Duke as a fashion icon.
Beautiful knitted hat. Beautiful knitted hat.
Summit of Prometheus. It's a bit postmodern and disorganized for my taste, and I can't stand the extra waves of fabric around me, but I have to admit I remember a very modern-flavored friend who knows how to move it. . This model can also be worn as a scarf and versatility always wins in my book.
Plasma shawl. Very effective use of the drop stitching technique.
Rusty gloves. In general, not bad gloves, but I don't think the embroidery adds anything. I'll probably replace it with the wrist.
