Knitscene Summer 2019: A Review
Knitscene released the 2019 summer issue . Let's see, shall we?
Welded lace scarf. An interesting combination of traditional lace trim with a modern mohair stripe.
Flared cardigan. This design has some interesting textures and details, but I'm not sure if it will hold up well.
butterfly gloves. They are cute as adults.
A new growth limit. Beautiful, high-quality embroidery is a delight.
An updated set of a hat and heart-shaped socks. What a beautiful set. This "reworked" embroidered heart looks great against a simple color block background.
fire cardigan. I can't help but think that this one would look even better if it was big enough for the model.
Scarf with sparkling dots. What a beautiful embroidery.
Lottery in the United Market. This unlined bag with thin straps lacks strength and won't hold up at all until it sags.
Sparkling sweater. This will be a great and useful summer top.
High flash point. It has a cheerful and attractive appearance.
Exothermic sweater. I don't like the off-the-shoulder look and the very open mesh, but this is a great example of the genre. The pattern is good, the embroidery is interesting.
Fire scarf. Very nice border on this one.
beret with tiara effect. The embroidery on this hat is supposed to look like fireworks, but I find it very similar to an amoeba that seems to have mobilized and invaded the wearer's brain.
flaming scarf. Nice modern fabric.
spark tip. For women who consider Daisy Duke a fashion icon.
Sweet hat point. Cute little knitted hat.
Prometheus is tall. For my taste, this one is a little postmodern and unstructured - and I would never allow myself too much - but I must admit that I remember a friend of mine who had contemporaries who could influence him. This design can also be worn as a scarf and its versatility is always in my books.
plasma scarf Using a very effective suturing technique.
Oxidation gloves. In general, the gloves are not bad, but I don't think the embroidery adds anything. I'll probably replace it with a few scratches on my wrist.
