Knitting Traditions 2018: A Review
Today we will be reviewing the 2018 Knitted Traditions issue .
Anna Veronica cardigan. I like the sides, but the front of this design doesn't quite fit.
Roussin wrap ballet. Cute!
Top line offset. This top has a scarf bottom, which is a vintage design feature that seems to be going through a renaissance. I agree with the magical reimagining of past design styles, but I've noticed that the scarf doesn't usually hang around the hip. It might not be a very flattering design for most female figures, but I have to admit it's an interesting piece that goes well with trendy designs.
Coconut wrap. Classic lace scarf.
Collectible bag. This cute and cute modern bag is a tribute to the girl guide and the history of nature monster collecting.
Top directory. Attractive and very comfortable sweater.
End of travel bag. This simple plaid fabric design, which is another Girl Guide inspired thing, is pretty smart and related to the original Girl Guides. (No, not really, but I can't help but yell at Addams on Wednesday .)
Bundle of Mackintosh Leaf jewelry. I've never been able to invent crochet thread embellishments, although it's a good design because it never looked like embellishment. Tie this set with wire and beads and you will have something different from what your child brought home from camp and made.
Orthodox Church of the Royal Chapel. This is a great job with iron wires and the smallest details.
Slippers-scarves. It's fun and sporty.
Cardigan with lamb station. It's a great shape and I love the combination of texture and lace.
Sports Sea Boss. I love the sailor style and I love this piece in general, but I look at the lace and think how rustic and ready-made it is. I prefer to make the right flaps and buttons, or pull them out completely and tie a loop connecting the two sides of the neck.
Suffragette coats. There are some very interesting details in this, but I'm not interested in what the front is.
Tourist sweater. Okay, but I think I'd like to come back so everyone can see a more interesting backdrop. I also love this plaid pleated skirt.
Bamlin Henley. Oh beautiful! And it's neat enough that it almost tempts the eye to think it's two layers.
Wrap and twist. The zigzag sides are beautiful, but I can't say I care about the edges. She looks so strong.
Winged bell and lock. Very elegant design. The motives of castles, bees and butterflies became the standard of science, the secrets of nature began to be revealed. My first thought was that sperm is the key and sperm and butterflies and bees are facts of life.
