Knitting Traditions Fall 2017: A Review
Knitting Traditions has published their Fall 2017 issue . Let's take a look, shall we?
sweater aviator. Not a bad piece. Leather lace tassels give it a certain touch. I'd love to try straightening a fallen shoulder - maybe try replacing the leather cord with duct tape.
bag for the camera. It's funny! These vintage camera bags are often chic and useful bags, why not a non-hipster woven version?
Shawl of the Crystal Palace. This beautiful shawl is inspired by the famous Crystal Palace Vestibule, the grand exhibition of Victorian England. I don't think Prince Albert ever hoped that his great design would continue to inspire creative artists a century and a half later.
flat vest. He sits rather badly, he has grown forward.
Bolero plane. Beautiful room. I like the steampunk vibe.
Rap is written. Beautiful packaging with architectural threads.
Haubergion sweater. A classic and comfortable piece with beautiful details on the inside.
Sat down incognito These legs come with toilet paper accessories.
Jacquard shoe shirts. They also remind me of toilet paper blocks, or in this case I love the contrast stitching effect used here, I'm really excited to see the impact of other designs.
cashmere scarf. What a fantastic job.
Manchester sweater. Beautiful room. For a more romantic effect I would rather do this with soft wool yarn (which looks more fragile) instead of cotton yarn.
Maurice Flair and Vine Meats. There is quite a bit of work going on. I like nice patterns on the back and the lace is gorgeous, I don't even think about what to wear it with. I think they would go well with any romantic bohemian outfit.
Socks Nottingham. Oh I love these plaid socks for how fun and sporty they are.
Samurai Kaul. Another beautiful piece of lace that is very versatile as it can be worn as a cape, poncho or hat.
Spiny Beetle. Funny, interesting և catchy.
Shebeke there. Attractive stained glass window that looks great from every angle. I'm not keen on the color, but it's an easy fix.
stamp sweater. I like it. The design is beautiful and the pattern of the outfit is well thought out and thought through.
Travel a thousand miles. It's great, it's equally effective for Victorian costumers, steampunk lovers, for those who just want a nice party bag.
