Knitty First Fall 2017: A Review
Nitty released her issue in early 2017 . Let's see, right?
Ansaira. Not bad. I wasn't happy with those unfinished edges, but they weren't visible when I opened the lid.
oily. Very pretty. The ruffle effect is very interesting on the hat.
Sleep , I'm not too fascinated by it, although there's actually nothing wrong with it. The best and smartest colors make this theme more attractive and integrated.
Laminated window. Now it's something different, although very different, I don't know how comfortable it is. I would feel silly wearing it, but cutting the back to the same length as the front and removing the woven ball from the back would make this piece look weird for the sake of looking weird. I like the shape, the play of stripes and the way the pleated hood arranges the front with the collar of the scarf.
collar and tie. A few years ago while researchinga post about crochet ties I discovered that crochet ties can be tricky to fix but I have to appreciate this design. A dust jacket looks just as good.
Long arms. Oh delicious. The unusual shape and stitching of this scarf go very well together and it looks great.
What the world needs now. As much as I appreciate the sentiment behind these Gay Pride earrings (and the fee the stylist paid her for the ACLU model), I don't know if I can be after the death penalty. I don't think yarn makes jewelry attractive because it can never go beyond the "made by 10-year-olds in camp" look. I'm going to replace this rainbow with a pearl rainbow.
Take me. I like the idea of adding a zipper to the cap which gives it a contemporary feel that goes well with modern attire like a motorcycle jacket. Hoods don't look good without a zipper and are worn around the neck with long loops, but hoods don't look as pretty.
sidebar serp. Beautiful knitted scarf.
Fade slowly. Some of these impressive shapes and stitches.
Vinkulam. Bad wire socks don't make a pair. I'll stay on these legs a little longer.
pink window. As a stained glass lover (and creator) for me, stained glass effect knit projects are like candy. Very nice hat.
Bosco This is an unusual take on classic itching techniques. I like to combine a traditional look with a contemporary minimalist style.
Wisteria is a very nice classic cut that fits well, although I would add buttons and buttonholes instead of one next to the front belt.
across the side. It's a fairly simple piece to wear, but I wouldn't stretch the lace pattern under the sleeves as it creates the effect of a dropped shoulder, preferring to have sleeves tucked in to the edge of the shoulder.
