Knitty First Fall 2017: A Review

Nitty released an issue in early 2017 . Let's look at it, what are we?





Anchor. Not bad. I don't like those perforated edges, but they are not visible when the hood is raised.





Volkage. Very nice. The combined effect is very interesting for a balaclav.





Prophet. I'm not too impressed, though there's really nothing wrong with that. A good and smart colorway will make this design more attractive and integrated.





Especially Lamina. It’s different now, though so different that I don’t know how much it can carry. I would feel silly to wear it, but shortening the back to the same length as the front and removing the crochet beads from the back seam makes this part a bit weird. I like to fold the hood back to create a look, striped play and a shawl collar on the front.





Collar and tie. A few years ago when I was researchingan article on knitted ties , I learned that knitted ties are hard to come by, but I have to appreciate this design. It is as beautiful as a rag.





Long suit olic ah. The unusual shape and embroidery of this shawl goes well together and it looks amazing.





What the world needs now. While I applaud the feeling behind these gay proud earrings (and the designer donated the royalties he received to ACLU for the design), I don't know if I can support its implementation. I don't think the thread makes the decor attractive because you can never lose sight of the "made by ten year olds in one day camp" look. I'd like a bead rainbow instead of a rainbow string for these earrings.





Sincerely I like the idea of ​​adding a zipper to the hood, which gives it a modern look that goes well with modern clothing like motorcycle jackets. The hood does not look well worn when not compressed and it has a long loop around the neck, but it does look good when it is worn.





Her scarf. Beautiful knitted scarf.





Is slowly disappearing. It has some amazing shapes and embroidery.





Vinkulam. Not bad tights. I'm going to make their legs a little longer.





Soak As a stained glass (and crafts) enthusiast, for me stained glass effect knitting projects are like candy. A very nice hat.





Sit down. This is a variation of the classic vest. I like to combine a traditional look with a simple and modern style.





glisien; A very nice classic piece that wears well, though I'd rather add buttons and tabs to the front instead.





On the side it is a simple and fairly wearable piece, but I will not let the lace pattern run opposite to the sleeve as it creates a slanted shoulder effect and will have a stocking stitch sleeve up to my shoulder instead.
