Knitty First Fall 2019: A Review
Knitty has released its first fall 2019 issue . Let's see, huh?
necklaces. This packaging looks attractive and comfortable, and it will be interesting to choose a color scheme.
barricade. This sleeve looks like a classic Breton sweater paired with shoelaces, and here I am. Very marine.
I had a dream last night . It's a classic flat cap and it's double sided, which is always nice.
Mr. muffins with rabbit. This set of hoods and hoods was inspired by the work of Beatrix Potter, with an interesting texture of smooth dots. If you do not think this set will ever be released again, take a look at the model page, which contains a beautiful little biographical essay on Potter and is illustrated with some amazing watercolor sketches.
Brenton Point. This is an interesting new look for a sweater with a flirtation of Fair Island, fresh and modern. I think the yoke is a combination of solid background color that makes the yoke look like a hook, the use of simple diamond-shaped shapes on the yoke and a minimum of details on the main part of the sweater. The physique is also good.
wal. The design dates back to the 1980s, although the muted colors are modern. It's quite funny, but I'll fix those drooping shoulders.
edge of the fugue. I like them so much that I added them to the sock patterns I saved as favorites on Ravelry, and hope to get them in 2020.
You do not want me. It's definitely very similar to the 1980s, and of course the model name has a very clear reference to the 1980s (and that gave me a sharp ear). It's a fun and perfect piece of clothing if you want to imagine yourself dancing under a flash in a 1980s nightclub.
Bremen village bag. Oh, it's a fun design that makes me smile. Hooray, you guys are coming together, defeating a group of thieves and smart and brave animals who are leading a happy and comfortable life after being thrown out by heartless owners because they are too old. I can not help but wish for a slightly better treated top edge and / or valve.
Ozzy Zarybela. I'm trying to overcome my extreme aversion to protein and I'm trying to appreciate this design a bit, so I'm going to say that this design is very well done and makes the awful rodent look beautiful, fantastic and I'm going to go now. do anything else as soon as possible to get rid of the rag in my head.
