Love of Knitting Fall 2017: A Review
Love of Knitting released the fall 2017 issue . Let's take a look at this, shall we?
Ash sweatshirt. Wonderful. I liked it so much that I'm thinking of using this pattern for a brown sweatshirt I want to make next year (my current brown sweatshirt with the latest fibers), even though I wanted a zip design and don't want to know how good the zip would look on this one. But I still prefer it now.
Mitchell Bloomsbury. Good detail and shape on this one.
Brioche scarf. I really like it. It's creative, it's attractive, it's stylish, and it's something that even the most unattractive man would love to wear.
Cotswold Kappellet. It's a very cute and comfortable detail, but I can't say that I'm thrilled with that little twisty thread that the designer used for the front closure. However, there are a lot of brackets, so you can easily change to another one of your liking if you don't like this one either.
Cardigan Delabole. This is a beautiful product with good fit and good details that I wouldn't wear with a tank top. The effect is too bright.
Guernsey scarf. What a beautiful thing! The stitching is excellent.
Basic outdoor jacket. Okay, but I've seen much more interesting custom-made cardigans.
Hood queen. I like it. Fits well, beautiful, rich yarn.
Competition for the Plaza Miter Award. I love this shoulder bag if it wasn't for the muted colors it comes in. The weak shape works well in this size and with these handles.
Kant's Nottingham cardigan. Good shape and nice lace details.
Roimojet. Not bad. I think you could go with fur thread for this. The design has a small plane in a solid color.
Blackwater Serpent. I love the embroidery on this.
Sherwood forest sweater. I really like it. Details on the neckline, hem and cuffs are eye-catching and the color palette matches well.
Robbery in the Shetland Islands. Another beautiful scarf.
Achilles therapy. He is so cute and it would be interesting to choose a color scheme for him.
Thames Path socks. This is a visual and practical pair of hiking socks. The ribbed strap around the foot is designed to keep socks out of your hiking boots.
tweed water. This is a good piece. The turtleneck idea is a little unusual, but it works in my opinion and the cable does a great job.
