Love of Knitting Winter 2017: A Review

Love of Knitting has released a 2017 winter edition. Come and see.

Bohuslan sweater. In general, I like it a lot, and I won't remove the extra seams in place of the usual eye-catching and weird contrasting coquette to give the chevron detailing along the body of the sweater. Packed all over the body and all done in one hosiery. Garter stitches don't seem to add anything, but they give the Chevron a somewhat confusing effect.

Claire pullover. This is the good part. I'll be short, but the reason I don't think about long tunics is because it's not intentionally wrong.

Cliff of Moher. Not bad. This can be useful when a woman is very relaxed and just wants a layer on a flannel shirt.

Connaught hood. Beautiful. But then it's hard to go wrong with the wire sheath.

Furuset gingerbread man. Okay, but I think I can change the expression a bit. The pink spots on my cheeks should remain in the cheek area, not the corners of my face, unless I've been putting the blush in the wrong place for the past three decades.

Excellent gloves. Very nice, but I add a small cut on the wrist. The edges look a bit unfinished and one of them is round.

Jerate Kaul. Some good points about this.

Kattegat pullover. Oh, I am this. It is very simple and comfortable to wear, but the necklaces, bracelets and belts make it unique.

Ruhanu short pullover. The length of the cut will reveal a t-shirt that fits well at the bottom, like this kid's model, but looks "wash-cut".

Sweater sandwich. I like this general idea and it fits well, however somehow it doesn't fit perfectly because the colors don't match well. I figured I could do this in two streams instead of three, using multiple primary colors, one solid color, and contrast coordinates for the nerves.

A silk scarf. This is a beautiful scarf that goes well with a casual outfit like this one.

Scapa Stream Network. I'm not crazy about it. The texture is good and I like the thread used here, but it looks ugly in the three pro-style photos on the Ravelry model page. Heavy packaging is not suitable.

Sherkin Island Shawl. Classic and captivating packaging.

Mike Scalig Michael. Beautiful. How could I wear these dresses around my neck!

Cape Svalbard. I love this beautiful island and these colors, but not the awkward dashed lines on the nerves. For a while they look like a louse, forgetting which is the right side of the job.

Tarfala Jala Valley. Beautiful! I love the edges and the wrong side of this scarf would be as good as the right side.

Cows of Yale Island. Another interesting cut with an interesting point.
