Love of Knitting Winter 2017: A Review

Love of Knitting has released the Winter 2017 issue . We'll take a look.

Bohuslan sweater. I quite like it overall and I liked the idea of putting the chevron detail on the body of the sweater instead of the contrasting yoke where it would usually be attractive and unique but would work in garter stitch through the body seams and fix the outfit. in the fabric. The garter stitch doesn't seem to add anything, but it does give the chevrons a slightly blurred effect.

Claire sweater. It is a very beautiful piece. I'll cut it down, but that's because I don't care about robe length items because there's something intentionally wrong with it.

Cliffs of Moher West. Nothing bad. This can be effective when a woman is very laid back and wants to layer a flannel shirt.

Connaught Hood. Cute but hard to go wrong with a balaclava.

Furuset gingerbread people. Enough, but I think I'll change my facial expressions a bit. The rosy cheek patch should be in the cheek area, not the edge of the face, unless I've been putting my blush in the wrong place for the last three decades.

Jagodi gloves. Overall excellent, but would like to add a few finishing touches to the bracelet. The edges seem a bit unfinished and one of them is rolled up.

Kaul Sworn. Some of these beautiful points.

Kattegat sweater. Oh I'm That It is so simple and easy to wear, but the collar, cuffs and waist make it stand out.

Ruhanu short sweater. The short length shows that any nice shirt can be worn underneath, as is the case with this children's model, but it has a floaty look.

sandwich shirt. I like the general idea of this and the formatting is good, but it somehow doesn't fit, probably because the colors don't seem to work together. I think I can do it between two strands instead of three, using a contrasting variegated color for the main color and a harmonious solid color for the ribs.

gray scarf This is a beautiful scarf that complements a regular outfit, like this one.

Scapa Flow scarf. I'm not crazy about it. The texture is good and I like the yarn used here, but it looks weird in three professional-style photos on the model's Ravelry page. This heavy wrap doesn't tend to look good.

Sherkin Island Scarf. An interesting classic wrap.

Scalig Michael jumper. Gorgeous. If only I had enough neck to pull off a look like this!

Svalbard sphere. I love the Fair Isle and its coloring, but not those trademark garter stitch lines on the ribs. It looks like a bag that closes with a string.

Tarfala Valley scarf. Great! I love the trim and the fact that the back of this shawl is almost as pretty as the front.

Yale Island Hood. Another interesting piece with interesting stitching.
