Noro Magazine Issue 12: A Review

The twelfth issue of Noro magazine has been published. Let's look at this, shall we?

No. 1, Entrelac cover. I really feel like I've seen this Afghan and the next Afghan before, but on the other hand, the Noro Afghan is the perfect showcase for yarn and I want to play with the contrasts.

N° 2, Cover "Square in a square". Cute Afghani dress with a "please don't turn on the TV" hint.

No. 3, herringbone shawl with ears. Made to be worn, but one of the things that looks best on the sofa.

No. 4, headphones. Very well. I love the combination of eyelids and lace embellishments.

No. 5, triangular shawl. It has an unusual modern feel, but it works. The softer color scheme was a good choice given the presence of stripes and blocks.

No. 6, open shawl. A very simple shawl in a traditional style.

No. 7, curtain. Simplified design. I'm not a fan of Tutti Frutti's color palette, but that's just a personal preference.

No. 8, semi-circular shawl. A classic lace shawl in a decent shape.

No. 9, chevron at the top. I like the yarn used here, but the shape and the shoulders that have been dropped should work seriously. The model is simply filled with this fabric.

No. 10, silk knit top. I love the side stripes and the color scheme, but it's an awkward box shape.

No. 11, shirt-shirt and garter. Oooh, what beautiful stripes. I would fix the descent.

No. 12, Crossback tank. Very nice and comfortable outerwear. I love the lace work below and the fit and fit is good.

No. 13, striped waistcoat with skirt. It's good too. The overall shape is good and the neckline is flattering and even a bit dramatic.

No. 14, two-tone sweater. A very worthy object. It will be fun to play with the body cut/color contrast.

No. 15, Two-tone tunic. Not bad. I like the play of textures on the case and the bottom panel, as well as the finishing details. It is one of the most interesting and fashionable materials that can be combined with a simple skirt or pants.

No. 16, directional striped top. I like that detail above the waist, but I don't like how the top panel sits in the bottom half. Looks like "these parts are glued together in the dryer".

No. 17, Kishi-raglan sweater. I love her so much that I would like to have a lover for her. (Dear Internet users, applications are already being accepted.)

Jersey n°18 Le Mans Henley. His fan base is not that big. Everything is fine in the body, but I don't like the way this collar fits. Has an awkward thickness.

No. 19, short-sleeved sweater. I like it better. Its minimalist style works well with the yarn options - this pattern lacks bright yarns - and the lines are good.

Shirt #20. It's too loose around the hips. It will be better if he fits better.

No. 21, upper edge. Sweet! There will be a fun and comfortable top to wear with jeans.

No. 22, top panel. It has a certain charm, but it will be difficult to take such a form. It is good at the neckline, but very voluminous at the bottom.

No. 23, Cardy with Diagonal Grid. It all seemed to start well, and then it would end in a wild, tearful run. Requires additional processing of facades and a different type of roofing.

No. 24 v-neck shirt. It's a nice detail, but this chest seam will be uncomfortable for women with large breasts.

No. 25. Vestroeispaan for. This sweater doesn't wobble as much as it hangs. Such a ridiculous and clumsy character.

No. 26, round neck sweater. His crew has neck openings.

No. 27, lace waistcoat. Very cute, even chic. I like the three rows of buttons.

No. 28, Kant serp. I would like to see this room better, but it looks quite presentable.
