Rowan 40 Years: A Review

Rowan celebrated its 40th anniversary with a special collection of 40 models from their archives . I've only reviewed their models in six years, so I've reviewed their annual version, even if it means I've reviewed some models a second time. Just for fun, I've been following my original model rating since 2012 եմ talking about whether I will believe my word. When I started working on this review, I was hoping that Rowan would really be back in the last 40 years, offering all the four-decade crossover models. But that's not what they did. Most of these models are probably from the last twenty years, only one from the 1990s. It was a visit to the Museum of Modern History to see that half of the exhibition is closed. But I understand why the Rowan editors did that. Fashion has not changed much in the last two decades, և from the last two decades it is easy to choose designs that look համապատասխան attractive by 2018 standards, while the previous twenty designs require big changes և not much knitwear. t. Onja. This is a 2000 model. It is so simple և classic that I doubt it will ever look old.

Winter flowers. Here is the design of 2000. I like the theme of the unpublished flower, the egg is good, it would be interesting to choose a color for it.





Orkney. This sweater is from 2012. When it came out in 2012, I reviewed it, saying that I liked it in general, I complained that the neckline, the bottom edges are open. Admittedly, the way the sweater sits in the photo of the model's original product did not contribute to the design. It fits in quite well here.





Carlota. Since 2004. At first glance, I thought this model was from the early 1980s, I imagine it could be without beads and ribbons, but these shiny products give you a younger look. Nice, but I can do it without ribbons. The pink detail is very beautiful for me.





Sowing. It's been a really good job since 2007. I like the delicate, delicate weave.





In the coat box. I do not know when this design was first released as it does not appear to be in Ravelry. In fact, in the original photo, it looks better than it did because the model was the first to hang it. I like the details of the collar and the fist, but I could not help but think that the smaller size would make it look less heavy.





And go. Since 2002. It's amazing how well this low-contrast panel works for traditional models. It really refreshes it և turns it into something else.





Agnes. Since 2004. The French knot really works.





Wrapping a soothing scarf. Since 2013. When I first reviewed it , I wrote, "The Soumak scarf cover is great if you are one of those people who can save dramatic wrapping (և withstand permanent correction)." Gizli. Since 2009. Quite a nice product with a nice texture that will give great interest (և warmth) to the casual outfit.





Brescia should be happy. Since 2007. It works better than I thought, wrapped in Afghan style, but still more like the previous one.

Balloon sweater. I have been looking beautiful and cheerful since 2003. I adjusted the fit a bit as I liked the idea I saw in one of the Ravelry user photos I see on this Ravelry model page. adding subtle colored lines on the edge of the collar, cuffs.





Kinter. I have been writing since 2012 that it was a "beautiful sweater" . And I accept this bold and contradictory position.





A piece. Excellent since 2005. I myself have been paying attention to this design for some time.





Rabinia. Since 2011. I like the floral pattern, but I could not help but think that I would make it more standard. But I have to admit that this design looks good on Ravelry users who make it.





Flora. Since 2004. is beautiful. The edges of a good egg turn a small striped sweater into something beautiful.





Barley. Beautiful work 2009





Lydia. Since 2010. The Fair Isle model is great (after all, it's a coffee maker design), but I would change that. I can see from the designs of Ravelry users that many Rav users have done just that, using the example of a fair island to create any sweater or cloak.





"Celtic" since 2006. Very attractive և worn jacket.





Improvements since 2001. This design appears in a short version without a fashionable floral pattern, but I think it looks best with a floral pattern.

In the six years since I wrote the Knitwear Review, I've never been convinced that oversized packaging might look good in a professional photo, but in real life it's hard and unrealistic. I do not see many women on the street with them.





Fog. Since 1999. For me personally, it is very minimal, but I must admit that it can be worn, it is suitable for all roller users who have done it.

" Clothes can be uncomfortable as adding another heavy item will not make it any better. If you want to make this outfit for yourself, I suggest wearing it separately.
