Rowan Knitting & Crochet Magazine 63: A Review

Today we are reviewing Rowan Knitting & Crochet Magazine 63 .

Nabila. I love the embroidery on this embroidery and to attach this clutch, the shoulders will get in the way of the design a lot but I don't want to do that yet because those sleeves look so short. If I changed this pattern, I could use a seamless sleeve to pick up the body stitches and remove the pattern from the sleeve. But then you can decide if you like freeform and what you can do.

Vest and skirt Delft. I'm doing well. The shape of the sweater and the skirt are good, and the blue flower pattern inspired by Delft porcelain on a white background is beautifully interpreted.

Diba. The color block effect is very simple but effective and in good condition.

And the garden. This coastal pattern might look like Afghani, but this designer took it a step further by applying the technique of smooth stitching and twist stitching, resulting in a modern smooth coat.

Compare. A stylish new take on the classic striped sweater.

Taiba. I love this coat with its unusual color and very interesting stitches. The band has nothing to do with it. It might be best to take a look at the waist, change the collar to something that fits you a little better, push the buttons a little higher on the ribbons, and throw away the belt.

dad. A simple straight form tank.

Moorcroft. It's a good thing - the side tail is attractive - but I'm going to adjust the cut a bit and shape the waist.

Vania. The crochet is very neat in a bohemian style bag.

Stafford. I find it tempting. He looks rough on the outside

Waterford. The pattern inside is quite glamorous, but the crushed shape is also not flattering for this professional model.

Kayla. Nice side, but once again I find that the cape effect does not work well. It's hard to fix the creases because I know they're both sorry for taking them apart again.

Spod. I love the bold, modern look of this model and it's fun to see the model and find out what it is.

Kalikoa. The layered effect of this design is creative and striking, but I can't help but think it would go best with a woolen scarf, which is quite large.

Ziana. Even though they try to stylize this piece, it still looks like a random row of stitches thrown across a pattern.

Porcelain. The "Kilders and Vases" pattern is fun and eye-catching, but the shape isn't flattering.

Beswick. Nice item to wear, but I'm going to add more buttons because this lonely, lonely, isolated button looks incredibly lonely. NO, I DON'T THANK YOU FOR THE DESIGN.

Hasina. It's a basic toaster, but it's perfectly portable and useful, just like a well-made basic top.

Minton. I love both the color block effect on this piece and the dots next to each other. The design is also good.

Garima. I like the concept of a solid body combined with the detailing on the shoulders and sleeves, but here I would opt for a seamless construction to get rid of that unfortunate shoulder seam down the center of the garment and make the body more net.

Wedgwood. Wedgwood, Spode, Delft, Minton, Porcelain, Waterford... Rowan has seriously thought about this and we haven't seen it yet. I am not complaining. I'm a fan of beautiful cutlery, and Chinese patterns are a great source of inspiration for knitting patterns. I really like this design too, although I would come back for the seamless construction of the sleeves on this late bag shoulder seam. In the case of this particular sweater, changing the seam to eliminate the drop shoulder will be quite a difficult task, so if you're not experienced enough, you'll probably prefer to do it as is.

Dagger. Attractive but neutral packaging. I love the combination of texture contrasts.

Haviland. It's not a bad tunic, although I'd bet on the franc.

Eshan. I love the Madras checkerboard effect of this knit cape.

Coleport. Classic waistcoat with an interesting and unusual embroidered texture.

Saguna. It's as simple as it sounds, but sometimes a simple sweater pattern like this is the perfect choice for a pretty yarn.

Tan , lied , min . I love all three of these pillows, but I'm not sure if I'd use all three together. I would probably choose a design, change the colors for one and two pillows, and change all three pillows to a solid or accent color.

Lanica. I like the body model, but it looks incomplete. Curved edges always pull a little.

Ainslie. Net and graphic effect. I have the impression of seeing it in another color.

Helen. Nice, although I would like to look at these facades to see if they are finished and how.

Umnie. An interesting combination of embroidered mosaics and color blocking, although this color combination is not meant to match the design.

Barcelona. Attractive and useful summer vest.

Janan. The shoulder/tang form did not succeed and the sleeves look like a mutation.

Maida. This crochet cardigan is sleek and modern.

Guyana. I still can't imagine wanting to wrap a list of knit fabrics on the jean and call it a skirt, and for obvious reasons this "skirt" can't be worn on its own.

Stupid. Is cute. Round crochet eyes are reminiscent of octopus suckers , but in a positive way.

Hair. This sweater has an interesting combination of colors and patches on the crest, but without any problematic shape. Good things for the summer.
