Rowan Knitting & Crochet Magazine 63: A Review

Today we are reviewing Rowan Knitting & Crochet Magazine 63 .

Stuffed. I love the embroidery on this embroidery, and staring at those slumped shoulders greatly distorts the design, but I still want to do it because those sleeves look so ridiculously short. If I had to change this pattern, I could easily pick up the sleeve, remove the body loops, and pull the pattern along the sleeve. But then you can just decide you like the freeform and do it as is.

Delft sweater and stockings. it's nice. The shape of the cardigan and the skirt is good, and the pattern of blue flowers on a white ground, inspired by earthenware, is very nicely interpreted.

diba Very simple but effective effect of blocking color and shaping well.

And the garden. This wavy pattern might have looked Afghani, but this designer took the knitting and yarn technique one step further, resulting in a sleek and modern case.

Example. A stylish take on a classic striped sweater.

Taiba. I love this coat for its unusual colors and variety of interesting stitching. The belt has nothing to do with it. Maybe it would be better to add a little waist form, change the collar to a more comfortable one, pull the buttons up a bit higher on the drawstrings, and remove the belt.

Dadson A simple and slim tank.

Moorecroft. Great item - the detailing on the sides is attractive - but I'm going to tighten up the style a bit and shape the waistline.

Bathroom. Very beautiful crocheted handbag in the bohemian style.

Stafford. I find that unattractive. Has a stern, inverted gaze

Waterford. The model inside is quite charming, but the shape of the surprise is ugly even on this professional model.

Kayla works great with lace, but I don't think the wrap top effect works well either. I know it's hard to find reservations because I made two that I was so unhappy with that I ended up sharing them again.

Spod. I love the bold, modern look of the model and I love looking at the model and understanding what it is.

Coarse calico. The hidden, multi-layered effect of this design is creative and attractive, but I can't help but think it would look best on a wool scarf as it's a rather chunky effect.

Ziana. No matter how hard they try to style this garment, it still looks like an everyday shirt ribbon wrapped around a picture.

Porcelain. The teapot and vase pattern is cheerful and attractive, but the shape is not dashing.

Besvík. Nice to wear, but I would add more buttons as this one looks terribly lonely. NO I DO NOT WORK. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Hasin. It's a basic top, but it's quite comfortable and useful, as is usually the case with a well-designed basic blouse.

Minton I really like the color block effect as well as the side layers of braids/falls in this piece. The design is also good.

Harimi. I like the concept of a solid suit paired with shoulder and sleeve detailing, but I'd go for a sleek build to get rid of that unfortunate layer of shoulder between detailing and give it a more comfortable fit.

wooden wedge. Wedgwood, Spod, Delft, Minton, Porcelain, Waterford... Rowan is really Chinese in the matter, we did not go further. Not that I complained. I can make beautiful tableware, and porcelain designs are a great inspiration for knitting. I really like this design too, although I would have chosen the sleeveless design here because of the dropped shoulder layer. However, in the case of this sweater, removing the dropped shoulder seam will be quite a challenge. Therefore, if you're not very experienced, you'll probably prefer to do it as is.

daya An attractive but neutral case. I love the combination of contrasting textures.

Haviland. A good tunic, although I would have chosen fringe.

esana I like the Madras effect of this knitted cape.

coal port. A classic sweater with an interesting and unusual quilted structure.

Saguna. It's as simple as it sounds, but sometimes a simple sweater design like this is the right choice for a fine yarn.

Tanya , Kenga , Min . I love all three of these pillows, but I'm not sure if I'd use all three together. Maybe I'd choose a design, change the colors with each other's pillows, and make pillow number three loud or bold.

Lanika. I like the pattern on the body, but it looks unfinished. Fried edges always look a bit sharp.

Ainsley. Sharp graphic effect. I really want to see it in another color.

Alena. Fine, but I'd like to take a look at those fronts to see if they're finished and how.

Intelligent. An interesting combination of mosaic embroidery and color blocking, although I think this color palette doesn't match the design.

Barrel. Beautiful and practical summer card.

Janan. The shoulder/side shape is unfortunate and the sleeves look like a mutation.

Mayda. The crochet sweater is elegant and modern.

Guyana. I can't think of a case where I would want to wrap jeans in knit fabric and call it a sock, and for obvious reasons that 'sock' by itself isn't very good.

Stupid. It's nice. The round eyes on the crochet pattern remind me of octopus suckers , but in a rather positive way.

Part. This blouse has an interesting color and an embroidered top with no shape problem. Good things for the summer.
