Six Years and Still Counting Stitches
Today is the sixth year of Iron and Evil! Sometimes I make printable birthday presentations that year, but I was a little disappointed with the metal (traditional) or candy (sixth) birthday gifts. I thought I might write a post about using steam blocks, but ... meh. So the important thing is we can't wait to hear about this year's memories, I find it very funny, and some of my thoughts on that occasion.
As for external goals, this blog is posting as much as my chronic fatigue problem allows. Post regularly This blog will get 1,000 pages of views per day and has since moved to 2 million page views. Sweater Needles and Injuries The Facebook page is doing well by going through examples a month or 15,000 years ago, and this is what I have been waiting for a long time. Interesting and humorous messages related to punctuation. The engagement rate is very good compared to the Facebook pages of the most popular major magazines, although they have more followers than my page.
The KNDD team I founded two years ago has more than 330 members. I also use Pinterest and Twitter , although I use both accounts for personal reasons and to promote this blog.
Looking back over the past six years, it seems like the most impressive result of my blogging efforts has been the impact this blog has had on me . On the one hand, I am still impressed and I still enjoy my work. Studying, reviewing and documenting my thoughts on the latest projects and ideas in the punctuation world will never make me old. Second, I learned a lot from my efforts. Skills have improved a bit - my main guideline is to try to learn something new from each project - and I am very happy with the ingredients I have created because I have better described my overall tastes and have learned a lot about them. I really like and dislike it and it suits me and I do not agree, as well as how to complete a uniform, versatile and complete wardrobe. I no longer buy on demand, but plan carefully, decide exactly what you want or need and then do or buy the right thing. And surprisingly, my wardrobe is much better than it was in 2012, considering the little things I have to spend on clothes today. (Except for shoes, I'm sorry. I still don't know how to get good quality shoes for some). Wear as much as I can.) And, in addition to entertaining my readers, it also saves me money if I help my readers take a more critical and strategic approach to my own knitting and wardrobe design projects. Give money, be happy with their projects and purchases, help them dress better and look better and reduce their environmental footprint Then I have something to be proud of.
So this site has served me well in terms of its impact on me and others. But I do not know how long I will stay on the blog. From a financial point of view, the website did not work. He earns hundreds of dollars a year, which is not a good return for me - this is about a dollar an hour, maybe less. I'm sure when I have a few good times a day, I have the energy to focus and be effective, and I do not make a living (and if I live on some of the money I borrow). is it. Invest it. He must pay the right amount of time. I haven't thought about removing the needle yet, but all I can do is review it next year.
There are many ways to help keep your knitting needles in check and keep them safe. On the one hand, there is a donation key in the sidebar. If you read the website regularly and can afford to pay for it, consider making an annual or semi-annual donation as you can renew your subscription to the magazine or magazine of your choice. Suppose 80% of my regular readers earn $ 25 a year, I think I will make a good income from this page. If you are a regular reader but you are struggling financially and cannot afford to donate, enjoy this page. I'm happy for you because other people have created their website content for free.
There are other ways to help me, whether you give it or not. When you buy on Amazon.com, I receive a small portion of everything you buy at no extra cost, either at the Amazon Link in my sidebar or at any other Amazon link on my site. And I'm sure sharing your blog link on your social media accounts and talking about it with other weavers will increase my readership, which in turn will generate more advertising revenue over time.
But last but not least, thank you for reading, following and commenting on me. Your interest, feedback and enthusiasm is one of the blogging awards. This is a split point for at least a year!
