Vogue Knitting Winter 2017/2018: A Review
Vogue Knitting has published the Winter 2017/2018 issue . We will see.
Model 01. Sweater with yoke. Good match. The layout design reminds me of hieroglyphs. (Also, I typed "hieroglyphs" correctly in the first test, without spelling or Google.)
Model 02. Persian yoke sweater. I like this one too. The color is bright and unexpected.
Style 03 Off Shoulder Sweater. I'm not a big fan of the dress slit effect but I think it works here and the piece looks fun and trendy which is balanced with a classic shape.
04 zk. model, frank polo. Overall I like it but I would adjust the fit and remove the cuff from my sleeve which would drive me nuts. Can you imagine eating, eating or going to the toilet with a slap on the arm?
Model 05, pullover with outer yoke. It's responsive, but I can't help but feel like it's on its head.
Model #06, Chevron model selection. That is very nice. I would adjust the fit.
Model 07, modern Icelandic. They love it with its good design, graphics and format.
Model 08 sweater with Fair Isle pattern. Vogue Knitting is looking for some interesting patch designs for this issue . I like this one too.
09 zk. Model, Viking sling. As regular readers of this blog know, I'm very good at selling poncho models, but I have to admit it's a bit wonderful. The cropped front, as the designer did, makes it as comfortable as a sweater, the back and sleeves have all the drama of a cape. And then the knitted dresses and colors, with the association of square mothers and the plaid effect created with gray and different threads. If a woman walked past me on the street in this piece I would definitely walk up to her again as the design is distinctive and very perfect and imaginative. Picture.
Model 10 cropped square sweater. And now we're back from the t-shirt design tour...to this one. It seems... the EU house project has gone very wrong. It's so badly fitted in the upper body that the waist stretches all over the body and has a full hole in the shoulder seam.
Model 11, tails. It's also an EC House project but looks like it was created by Judy Jetson and she would get at least a B for it.
Model 12, blue and white sweater. I like this one that looks stylish and elegant.
Model 13 sweat jacket with raglan. i like it more The use of a larger caliber on the neckline and lower body is a nice touch and has a nice, beautiful shape. It would be great to use it to show off a wide range of threads you love.
14.zk. Model, a ribbed brioche hat. Smart and stylish.
Model 15 Sludhur sweater. It's too wide for my taste and falls off my shoulder. Thanks, however, to knitwear stylist Vogue for creating this look. The addition of a simple silk scarf made it look elegant.
Model 16, Layla and Fildischi Ruan boxes. I think it's a vest that lost its appeal in life and should have turned into a scarf or maybe a rug.
Model 17, slit sweater. Good line, but I would correct those dropped shoulders.
Model 18, cable cover open. Wonderful. I imagine many beautiful and varied threads.
Model 19, mohair cardigan. It looks sad and spacious, like a humble shop living in the desperate hope that there will be another chance at having a good home and not being locked up in a landfill.
No. 20 model, sand wave bridge. That seems like a question when Vogue Knitting offers us poncho designs I can't deny. It is very well covered and the stitching is excellent.
