Six Years and Still Counting Stitches
It's been six years since the knitting needle was hit. In the past, I've sometimes been able to make objective notes on this year's New Year's gift, but six-year-olds don't encourage me in the form of metal (candy) or candy (modern). I guess I could write a post about using a steam iron, but... ah. So this year, you'll only have regular photo memories, which may not sound as funny to me as some of my thoughts about them.
To strangers, this blog has continued as usual this year, and I've posted as many of my chronic fatigue issues as possible. On a regular basis, the blog receives about 1,000 pages per day, and since its inception, it has totaled about 2 million page views. The "Sweater Needle and Injury" Facebook page is working very well and I was waiting for a long time over 15,000 likes a month ago. Fun: Fun place for jacket professionals. . Fun and funny posts about sweaters. The engagement rate of this page is similar to that of the most popular jacket magazine on Facebook, although it has a lot of followers on my page.
Formed two years ago , the Ravelry KNDD group has more than 330 members. I'm also registered on Pinterest and Twitter , although I use both accounts for personal purposes as well as to promote this blog.
Looking back over the past six years, it seems like the amazing results of my blogging efforts have had an impact on me . First of all, I'm amazed to see that I'm still working, and I'm really enjoying my job. Learning, reviewing and documenting the latest sweater design ideas around the world is never too late for me. Second, I learned a lot from my own efforts. My knitting skills have greatly improved. My rule is to try to learn something new from each project. Dislikes and Dislikes How do I create a complete, versatile and complete wardrobe. I no longer go emotionally, but I plan carefully, decide clearly what I need or want, and then do exactly what I want to do. Surprisingly, when I think about how much money I've spent on clothes these days, my wardrobe is more comfortable than it was in 2012. (Aside from shoes, complaining, how do I dress?) What if I understood some of my readers besides entertainment? You will learn more of the most important strategic approaches to the textile and apparel design projects that you have developed, that will save you money, make them enjoy their projects, buy them, decorate them, look good and reduce their environmental impact. . I have achieved what I can be proud of.
So I hope this site will be useful to me in terms of its impact on others. But I don't know how long I will keep blogging. From a financial point of view the site failed. It only brings in a few hundred dollars a year, which is not a good profit for the time I spend on it. It costs about $1 a day, maybe less. When I have very few good hours in the day, I have the strength to focus, and to be efficient, I don't have my daily bread (I am already living on a portion of the loan money), I will probably have to invest. It's time to pay the actual price. I don't plan to stop weaving yet, but I can do it again next year.
If you want to keep your knitting needle alive, there are many ways to help. First, the donate key is located on the sidebar. If you are a regular reader of this site, consider making an annual or bi-annual donation, as you would if you could subscribe to your favorite magazine or other current issue. For example, if 80% of my regular readers give me $25 a year, I get a reasonable income from the site. If you are a regular reader but have financial issues and cannot donate, please continue to use the site. I am glad to be here because others are giving me their web content for free.
There are other free ways to help me, even if you aren't. If you make a purchase from Amazon.com, you will receive a small percentage of the additional cost from any Amazon link on the sidebar or any link on my site. And as you know, blogging on your social media accounts and sharing it with other jacket professionals will help me increase my readership, which will make me more ad revenue over time.
But last but not least, thank you for reading, subscribing, and commenting. Your interest, opinion and interest are among the gifts of the blog. There's been a Sitra injury here for at least a year.
