Today we will look at a selection of bag models that I have chosen. This post is the third in a series of five bag layouts I've made - I've also shared posts on different clutch/ purse designs, purses , messengers, and handbags .

The example above is the "Hello" Fair Island bag from Bergère de France, although I think it could also be called a "Hell Bag". Isn't there an expression for a person's life to "go to hell in a bag"?

Canvas ATX bag from Staci Perry. Another lightweight urban style bag with a bold stripe pattern. These bags and the bags mentioned above are not very portable bags, but sometimes you don't need to carry much.

Susan Rainey's square throw . He looks smart and stern at the same time.

Bedouin bag in three sizes by Nora J. Bellows. They seem to be from an expensive store. Simple scales add a lot.

Qureyon Scraps felt bag by Janet D. Russell. This will be an amazing stash break.

Sheep sling bag by Denny Gould. How soft is this little bag?

Felt bag made of sand and sea by Maria Do Souto. I love this stitch.

Snowflake felt bag from Lion Brand Yarn. I like that he uses two complementary examples.

Air Square bag by Amanda Scheuzger. So I think I would make it a little smaller using slightly smaller yarn or smaller needles as it looks uncomfortably large.

There are no sheep for you: weave with pleasure from cotton, silk, linen, hemp, bamboo and other fragrances . Other photo examples on the Ravelry page for this design show other, more muted colors, but this bag looks best against the stark contrast of black and white.

Vicki Square's "Shigra Diamonds" was featured in Folk Bags: 30 Knitted Patterns and Tales from Around the World . Oh, this colorful harlequin effect is so funny.

Locket Suitcase, by Nora J. Bellows. The seams on it are fantastic.

Tree Hugger by Vicki Howell, published in AwareKnits: Knitting and Crocheting for the Eco-Responsible Embroiderer . I like the picture of the Shaker with the needle on the tree.

All Totes , Nora J. Bellows. They are very polished and look spacious.

Bird bag by Pierrot Yarns Patterns. This charming folk art has an appeal. This is a free trial.

Tribal felt bag from Lyon Brand Yarn. It's just something to wear with Ankara, Kente or Dashiki printed dresses. And it's a free template.

Celandine , Diana Bertolatti. I love its simple shape and neutral tone. Almost every woman can go anywhere in a dress.

Organizer Amethyst by Diana Bertolatti. It's fun and also practical because practical pockets are always a nice feature of a bag. Making your own bag can be a huge benefit in terms of bag comfort as you can customize bags by adding the right size and style bag to your body or lining.

Just So bag by Andrea Bubb. It's both challenging and visually interesting.

Fantastic owl: felt bag by Deborah Tomasello. A cute bag for the owl lovers among us.

Wheatsheaf Mat Bag by Linda Cyr. It's definitely different. I rememberwatching Interweave again in 2014 when it appeared on Jane Austen Knits . The bag takes an amazing shape from the inner frame and these are the best felt handles I have ever seen, they look just as good as leather or vinyl handles in the same style. The model is beautiful too.

Floral window bag by Laura Barker. As someone who makes stained glass, I am always here to weave stained glass effects and this is a particularly beautiful example of stained glass weaving. However, I will replace these syrupy straps with leather or vinyl straps.
