Twist Collective May 2018: A Review
In today's post we take a look at the May issue of Twist Collective .
wobble This minimalist, unstructured element isn't my project, but I have to admit it looks great when hung (probably due to the time the user will take to hold it), it's a play of color: visually interesting.
Gloxinia . Wonderful lace.
Petrin . Simple summer dresses or stripes with enough details to make it interesting.
Chilston . Another elegant lace scarf.
esplanade . He is funny, smart, sporty, very mobile.
Montpellier. Another beautiful modern style scarf with a striped pattern. I don't like this palette (I think it's yellow, which I would change to another color), but it's easy to adjust.
ton This looks unfinished and wrong. Trimming the edges will help him sit better, which you can probably do with a belt.
Harlow . I particularly like this. The front dress is made in Art Deco style.
In Ali . Not bad. I think this is what I would do with a more interesting topic.
McGregor . good part I like all the details on the edges. I think this will correct sloping shoulders which "make the shoulders flatter" and slightly improve the fit.
Delpiano Park. The seams of this scarf are luxurious - it covers beautifully.
Beth This is a simple and comfortable garment, or I think it will improve the fit a bit. The back button style adds some interest.
Talita . The fourth beautiful handkerchief. Reminds me of an Edwardian gate, probably due to the combination of white hinges.
Sunapi. It's a beautiful and well-worked detail, as are the chapped, interesting lace sleeves, or it's unknown how many are used. At least for me, when I sewed a dress with half a hat, I did it because I couldn't bear to shake a little, pointing to the backs of the fabric. They are split at the bottom, they don't show the bottom, they seem to hang pretty well, so I think they are quite functional.
