Twist Collective May 2018: A Review
In today’s article, we review the May issue of Twist Collective .
Balance This minimalist and unstructured piece is not my type, but I have to admit it hangs well enough (important because how long will it take the user to adjust it?) And the color game is visually interesting.
gloxinia . Lace feathers.
Peter . A simple summer composition or a multi-layered composition, detailed enough to make it interesting.
Chilstan . Another gorgeous lace shawl.
esplanade . It’s fun, smart, sporty and very comfortable.
Montpellier. Another beautiful shawl with a stylish striped pattern. This color palette didn’t impress me (I think it’s yellow, I’d replace it with any other color), but its easy to fix.
India . It is incomplete and looks inadequate. Finishing the edges will help you sit better at the bottom and can also be associated with a distinctive waist line.
Harlow . I especially like it. The embroidery on the front is reminiscent of Art Deco style.
summer is not bad. I think this is what I will do on a more interesting topic.
McGregor . beautiful fabric. love all the edges and side details. I think he would straighten his bent shoulders, which would make them more flattering and a little neater.
Delphic forest. The embroidery on this hat is beautiful and in beautiful shape.
Beta . The fabric is simple and wearable, although I think you can change the style a bit. He is of little interest in the style of the bottom and back buttons.
Talaita . Beautiful quarter shawl. It reminds me of Edward’s shirt, probably because of the combination of white and buttonholes.
Sunapi. Well tailored and pleated, and the lace sleeves with the cut are interesting, though I’m not sure they can be worn. For me, at least, I didn’t go without explaining myself first. They split at the bottom, are not visible inside and hang very well, so I think they are very active.
