Twist Collective May 2018: A Review
In today's article we take a look at Twist Collective 's May issue .
Balance This minimalist, deconstructed fabric doesn't quite suit my design style, but I have to admit that it hangs pretty well (important, because how long does it take the wearer to hold it alone?) and the colorway is noticeably more appealing. .
Gloxinia . Excellent piece of lace.
Petrin . A simple bow cut or layer detailed enough to be interesting.
Chilston . Another beautiful lace scarf.
esplanade . It's fun, stylish and sporty and can be worn a lot.
Montpellier. Another beautiful scarf with a modern wrap in a striped pattern. I'm not very happy with this color palette (I think it's yellow, I replace it with almost any other color), but it's easy to fix.
Prickly Pear seems incomplete and insufficient. Cutting off the ends helps it sit better on the ground and may work with some lifeforms.
Harlow . I like it a lot. The stitching on the front has an art deco appeal.
leek . Not bad. I think this is one I will do with more interesting threads.
MacGregor . Good part I love all the detailing on the edges and sides. I thought about straightening those sagging shoulders that would pull my shoulders in and soften a bit.
Delphi forest. The stitching on this bandage is elegant and the drapes are beautiful.
Bet it's a simple and wearable outfit, although I thought I'd make it a little prettier. The edges and styling of the back button add a bit of interest to it.
Talaita . Nice fourth scarf. It probably reminds me of an Edward shirt because of the combination of the white and the eyelids.
Dusk. The beautiful shape and great detailing and those slit lace sleeves are alluring, although I'm not sure how much they can be worn. Well, at least I didn't go downstairs without first explaining myself. They're parted at the bottom, don't show any wrong sides, and hang down nicely, so I think they're very active.
