Vogue Knitting Early Fall 2017: A Review

Vogue Knitting released an issue in the fall of 2017 . Let's take a look at that, shall we?

Model number. 1, due to the open seams. It's a little rough on the edges for my taste.

Pattern number 2, knitted chevron. Nice scarf. The plot makes it interesting.

Model №3, sliding bandage. It's a little rough and thick for my taste, and does anyone else see a wall with little people standing on each other's shoulders while looking at the seams?

Pattern # 4 Diamond Coatings These are nice points.

Model number. 5, Shetland Twist dressing. Beautiful ink leads.

Model number. 6, textured film. Although this style of the model is monochromatic, it does not fit perfectly visually. I would choose two or three of these weaving patterns and repeat them instead of making each piece with a different texture.

Model №7, regular sweater. Classic details with a good fit.

Model no. 8, kimono style sweater. The back of this article looks great. I don't like fronts, but I don't like open-chested cardigans. I would tend to turn it into a sweater.

Model no. 9, crochet sweater. Not bad, albeit a little rough and unfinished for my taste.

Model # 10 Under Sweater Good classic fabric.

Model number. 11, diagonal knit blouse. Excellent training and tailoring.

Model № 12 Raglan Eyelet hoodie I'm not usually a fan of the net, but I like this fishnet model with its twisted and almost lacy look. The shape and details are also good.

Model no. 13, layered hats. Nice hat, but I don't know, I totally agree with these headphones, although I must admit that these headphones are made like headphones. The hat looks like a helmet from a Narnia series illustration. This is definitely not a bad thing.

Model number. 14, patterned open sweater. I have to admit that this fabric eliminates my usual objections to baggy jackets. It fits beautifully, the lace is beautiful, but it also has a romantic and modern effect.

Model number. 15, Rouen rigata. Lines and colors are irresistible. As this is a Coffee Fassett design, I wasn't expecting anything less.

Model number. 16, on a striped boat. Such a fun and attractive thing.

Model # 17 Collared Blouse This is a fun part too, although I don't think the color scheme works that well.

Model no. 18, vest with fringes. It looks like a "bath rug".

Model № 19, wide tunic. I would tend to stretch it a bit, turn it into a dress and rework the color scheme.

Model number 20, sweater with sloping braid. This jumper with rough, broken edges looks more like a work in progress than a finished piece.

Model no. 21, Fibonacci retractable vest. I really like the color combination and this vest fits me very well.

Model no. 22, striped dress. It's mobile, it's fun, it's trendy and it's fun too, but every time I look at it I hear the words "Please don't tune the TV".

Model no. 23, lace V-neck sweater. The shape is good and the color combination is well thought out, but these hanging strings drive me crazy.

Model no. 24, striped blouse. This is a reissue of the model, first published in the spring / summer issue of Vogue Knitting in 1989. This is fine, but not the model I chose from this issue for the reissue (I checked and yes, there is really a problem) and although the VK editors offer to change the themes to recreate the color scheme shown here , I will do it to rework the colors.

I like the idea of knitting decorative buttons, but it looks a bit kitschy.
