Vogue Knitting Holiday 2019: A Review
Vogue Knitting has released the holiday number of 2019 . Let's look at the bright threads of the holidays, shall we?
Style number 01, Victorian. Reminiscent of women's sweaters from the 1890s, this sweater is a nice refresh on that style with long cuffs with slightly rolled-up sleeves, but is thoroughly modern to wear.
Style #02, Marella. I'm not happy about that. A slight change in color between the body of the jacket does not suit me. the effect isn't as interesting or effective and doesn't seem to match. This will be a design that can be changed by choosing different yarns, as I'm sure it can look beautiful with the right contrast or with an extra yarn.
Model n° 03, Ocean. I really like the overall style of this one. is bold: fun, but I'm going to make it a hell of a thing.
Model No. 04, Alabi. Well... uh... the ribbon around the neck. The dwarf fenders and front pocket are out of place, and the overall look is washed out and bulky.
Model No. 05, Gibson Girl. As someone who loves Eduardian, I salute the design direction of this issue. I don't think I can wear a puff jacket because I'm the guy who underestimates the top half, but I really like looking at that part, it won't be hard to wear because of regular cuffs. .
Model number 06, diamond. This is a fresh and modern look of a diamond pattern.
Sample #07, parallelogram. It's pretty smart, but the short length isn't the easiest length for most women: you really have to show off your styling skills if you want to lengthen it.
Model n° 08, square. This stylist cleverly turned it "upside down" into a design element with the strategic use of swimmers. The result is a reversible scarf that can be used to display two different views. It impresses me to discuss this technique for the diamond hat on my 2020 project list.
Model n°09, Diamond. Very smart and practical too.
Model No. 10, Argyle. This is a wonderful refresh of a classic bomber jacket. It would be fun to choose a color scheme, but I would suggest staying away from the yellow and s combination for this, as it will look a lot like Charlie Brown.
Model n°11, open scarf. This scarf is more for completing the look than for warmth and practicality. Everything will depend.
Model No. 12, drawing by Hyacinth. beauty. This model will be a good candidate for a luxurious yarn, because it is enough to wear it for a casual evening event.
Model No. 13, Wisteria Flower: It is beautiful and visually interesting, has a fresh and modern feel. I just found myself spending a few minutes staring at her as the lines curved and floated in front of my eyes.
Example no. 14, Iris Ether. beautiful. I love the combination of angora, lace beads, which looks great, and the fact that the beads are used sparingly.
Model No. 15, Vest-la-Vignon. It's beautiful, and since I'm not looking at the design as a direct print, I'm amazed at how comfortable this item is. Can be worn in a simple dress or shirt and pants, or can be worn up or down.
Model No. 16, Karamozi. It's beautiful, I would wear it myself. But I'm going to adjust the look a bit.
Model N°17, Chalet Lavender. very nice course. Beautiful embroidery.
Model n°18, pink petals. Usually, if I were to think of wearing a carpet-colored fringed coat, like scales to sew on flowers, I could joke about mutant mermaids, some of which immediately cross my mind, but I can't. . An arm is a strange concept, but this stylist pulled it off with such skill that I can't help but stare at the result in awe. The embroidery is beautiful, the thread is beautiful, and in fact it is surprisingly comfortable, because when the tip of the cape is thrown over the shoulder with wings, as in the second photo, the outline looks absolutely classic. Wonderful.
Traditional plaid sweater. This is an example of "archived" knitting in this issue. It first appeared in the Fall/Winter 1985 issue of Vogue Knitting . It has been reissued in the "classic" collection of Vogue knitwear . I find it hard to step back , not to mention a jacket that works for some people, but every one of them I think.
